"Murder, murder, murder, arson resulting in murder, armed robbery resulting in murder. 300 inmates, 25 guards and 12 crew," Bellamy said reading off people who were on the ship. I sit in the captain's chair Murphy said in earlier as both Bellamy and Raven read through the people who were on this ship.
"Relax. Great-Great-Grandpappy Blake was an astronaut with how many PHDs?" Raven questions.
"4?" Bellamy responds not really knowing.
"And how many do you have? Oh, wait. Shut up. I got it. The captain's log," Raven says pulling it up. My eyes look up to the big screen from the chair I sit in.
"The last entry was over a hundred years ago," Bellamy said.
"Play that one," I said and Raven nodded, putting it on as a video started to play. All our eyes to the screen.
"I have to make this fast. The ship has been compromised. The prisoners found out about order eleven. They used an explosion in the starboard engine bay as a distract--" The guy is cut off as an explosion appears behind him, but it doesn't stop him from turning back to the camera and talking fast. "Most of the crew is already dead. They're about to take the bridge. Listen to me! With the engine damage, it'll be decades, maybe longer before they make it back home. I tried disabling cryo but couldn't!"
"That's quite enough, Captain," a woman spoke walking towards whom I assume is the captain talking mainly.
"If Eligius makes it back to earth, blow it out of the sky! Diyoza can't be allowed to weaponize the cargo! Do you hear me?! I said blow it--" Before the captain can finish someone walks up behind him and places a knife to his neck, quickly slicing it. I tear my eyes away a moment then look back to the screen seeing more people being killed.
"The bridge is yours, Lieutenant," a woman speaks.
"You said you wouldn't kill the crew," a guy says, faintly, angry liked.
"I said I wouldn't. You did the right thing. I won't forget it. Now do your job and get us the hell out of here, Lieutenant." The video plays a couple seconds more before a woman walks over to the camera and turns it off. A message saying no entry pops up onto the screen as I shake my head looking to Raven as she stands up.
"Cryo? He said he was trying to deactivate the cryo-- Bellamy, look out!" Raven turns around and I jump as a guy shouts and attacks Bellamy. When I see Raven go to attack I quickly jump in front of her and push her out of the way attacking the guy myself, feeling a few hard kicks to the gut and a few good punches to the face before being pushed down. I feel hands on me briefly as I hear grunts from Bellamy. I pick myself up and glance to Raven who eyes me and I shake my head. Raven stands before I can and runs up behind the guy digging her fingers into his eyes. I get up quickly and rush towards the big guy as he elbows Raven in the stomach. I go to attack him but feel his hand wrap around my throat as his other hand punches me square in the stomach.
