Madi pulls up the rover fast onto the sand. She stops and I eye out the window seeing guns pointed at the rover, but in the distance I could see Bellamy, Clarke, and several other Trikru and Skaikru members. I bite my lip as Madi opens up the door and gets out, slamming the door. She takes off running and that's where my eyes follow her and find Clarke who runs towards Madi. The two hug as all eyes were on them and the rover. Lexa was the next one out, walking towards Clarke and Madi. But as I watch Lexa didn't hug Clarke like I expected. Instead that did a little nod causing me to tilt my head.
That's when Monty got out followed by Harper and then Echo. I watch seeing her run towards Bellamy who then runs towards Echo. The two of them get close and I can see the look spread across Octavia's face. She was pissed. I clench my jaw before nodding my own head and climbing out the back of the rover. I adjust my bag on my back walking around and walking a bit of a distance from Harper and Monty. They walk towards the group and I stop a moment, looking to everyone before I hear my name shouted.
"Y/N!" I glance to where I heard the voice spotting a tall boy, with dirty blonde hair running away from Lexa and towards me. A small smile spreads to my lips as the boy gets to me and wraps his arms around me. I wrap my own arms around him and give him a tight squeeze.
"Hey Aden," I say gently in his ear before we break apart. Our eyes lock and I can see how big Aden's smile was. Mine grew some by just seeing it and I couldn't help but shake my head and reach up my hand messing up his hair. He pulls back a bit chuckling. "You grew up so much."
"It has been six years," Aden responds and I nod, placing my hand on his cheek.
"Yeah kid, yeah it has," I say back, letting my thumb rub back and forth on his cheek. Aden's eyes look back and forth between my eyes and I shake my head. "Jesus come here kid." I remove my hand from his cheek and place it behind his head, gently pulling him forward as we hug one another once again. It felt good to have him around. It always did. He felt like my own kid. Lexa and I's kid. I look up from the ground and find myself locking eyes with Lexa who keeps her arm up that was shot, resting on the end of her sword. I tear my eyes from her and down as I notice Clarke and Madi walking this way.
Aden and I pull apart and he steps to the side of me as Clarke and Madi get to us. Clarke and I lock eyes and I nod at her but she steps forward and wraps her arms around me. She squeezes me tightly but I can't bring myself to hug her back. After a second though she pulls away and keeps her hands on my arms, a smile on her lips as her eyes look back and forth between my eyes.
"It's so good to see you Y/N," Clarke says and I nod, knowing I had to say something but was so thankful when I heard someone shout we're heading back to the bunker. Clarke removes her hands and nods at me cauisng me to briefly nod back. Madi eyes me a bit and I give her a gentle smile as her and Clarke walk on. Aden grabs a hold of my hand and squeezes it, causing my eyes to peak to him.
"You okay?" He asks, his voice a bit low. I nod, giving him a smile.
"I'm good kid-"I pause squeezing his hand a moment, then letting go and reaching my arm up and gently around his shoulders. "I'm so glad you're not that much taller than when I last seen you."
