The Decision

I woke up, head still on Sam's chest and I heard him snoring. I smiled at my best friend, climbed off the couch and threw a blanket over him before kissing his forehead and leaving a note.

Bug

I walked back down to the sitting area and saw a few of the team. Steve, Bucky, Thor, Loki, and Vision.

"Y/N, we're watching a movie, would you like to join us?" Vision invited.

I smiled at him, "Thanks Vis, but actually I was looking for Loki. I had a question about the... proposition he offered earlier." I smirked as I saw Bucky's body tense up on the couch and everyone else turned to look at me. Huh. Maybe Loki is right.

Loki flashed a big smile as he stood, "Your room I presume?" I nodded.

"Brother, will you be joining our room tonight?" Thor called after him.

I yelled "Nope! Enjoy an empty bed, Thor!" As we walked away, interlocking Loki's fingers with mine. While I made the situation known for others benefit, this was for me. The surge of energy I felt just holding Loki's hand was indescribable. He squeezed my hand and we reached my room and I shut my door.

Sitting on my bed he tapped the spot next to me. "So you have questions, my darling?"

I nodded and instead of sitting next to him at the edge of my bed, I sat back, leaning against the pillows. "What would it entail?"

"May I?" He gestured to the spot next to me, I nodded and he laid next to me. "That all depends on your comfortability, of course. But I was thinking usual boyfriend responsibilities, dates and PDA and such. Although, I am limited to the tower so dates may be... complicated. But if I have a trustworthy escort we may just be able to make that happen as well." He paused looking for my reaction. "This is, after all, about you and the soldier. Whatever you think will make him jealous, I suppose it would entail that."

"Would you run with me? Train with me?"

He scoffed. "Absolutely not. However if you'd like for me to throw knives at you while you run, I could do that." Loki smiled wide again, showing his teeth and I felt myself drawn to him more. Putting my head on his chest he kissed my forehead and whispered, "whatever you want, my darling."

I took a deep breath and said "I'm in. So I guess we tell the team? How do we do this?"

Loki smirked, "Oh don't worry, my dear. They will know soon enough. For now, let's just enjoy now." He leaned his head back against the pillow and I synced my breathing with his. His hand absentmindedly rubbing against my arm rhythmically, I slowly dosed off.

I woke up a few hours later, still in my clothes, Loki still over my covers. Smiling, I got up to get changed into pajamas. A tank top and shorts. Then I walked back to the bed and shook Loki awake. "Hey, Loki. Loki. Wake up it's me." He opened his eyes suddenly and I watched his eyes melt as he noticed it was me. He whispered a greeting and I gestured at his clothes. "Want something to change into tonight? We'll get your clothes tomorrow?"

Loki shook his head and stripped himself down to just his underwear as I got myself comfortable under my covers. "This should do for the night, if that's okay?" He looked at me for permission and I blushed and nodded once. Smirking, he climbed in next to me and I turned to face away from him. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. I could feel his warm breath on my neck before he pressed his lips against me gently. "Goodnight, gorgeous. Sweet dreams." He kissed again, firmer this time.

I was overly aware of how much of his skin was touching mine, and could barely control the urge to turn around and kiss him. I laid there, trying to control my breathing and heartbeat, knowing he could hear my nerves. I let out a big exhale and I heard him chuckle. Fuck, mind reading. That was going to be problematic. He squeezed me tighter and I relaxed myself and we drifted off to sleep.
