3rd person POV
A week after Joanna had given birth to her stillborn boy, she decided it was time to leave to King's Landing. She wanted to tell Joffrey about their son, her mother had also lost a child, perhaps she could help her ease the pain she felt every time she thought of him. Joanna hadn't been scared or sad many times but, when she had been, there had been a reason scary enough that it would make even Ser Allister whimper. After two weeks of travelling, she finally arrived to the capital, where she was greated by her mother and Tommen. Where were Joffrey and Myrcella? - She thought to herself.
The Queen Mother hugged her daughter tightly, she felt her daughter shaking and starting to sob. Joanna was not one to cry in public, so she guided her to her own chambers, quickly followed by a confused Tommen. Once the door was locked and the maids all outside the room, Joanna let herself finally explode. Back in the Rock, she had no one to confide in, her grandfather was in King's Landing helping Joffrey and, previous to that, he had been fighting Robb Stark with his army. After a few moments, the young girl felt a pair of smaller arms wrap around her body, she looked up and saw Tommen. What a sweet boy he had always been.
"Joanna, I do not know why you are upset but, remember that we love you all very much. I could let you hug Ser Pounce for a while to make you feel better. Only if you want to." He muttered as if afraid of speaking.
"Thank you, Tommen. I really appreciate your thoughfulness and I would like to hug your cat very much. I love you too, little brother." She held onto him tight. How much had she missed his innocence, his huggs, the times they would play together, when he would be scared and look for Joanna for comfort. "Where is Myrcella?" Joanna wondered. The faces of her mother and brother changed instantly. They went from happiness and comfort, to saddness and, in her mother's case, hatred and anger.
"Tyrion sent her away with the Martells." Cersei spat, her eyes burned with fire.
"And Joffrey?"
"No! Don't go to him! He is a monster!" Tommen yelled without even realising what he had said. He held his little hands covering his mouth. It was clearly visible he was terrified of his older brother's wrasp.
"What happened while I was away? What happened to him?"
Joanna's POV
I fiercely made my way through the Keep to the Throne Room. I was so mad at Joffrey, he hadn't even come to see me or our son. He didn't know he had been a stillborn and he didn't even know if I was well and he hadn't bothered visiting me or waiting for my ship.
I entered the room and I would have never, not in my wildest dreams, thought I would see this. The was a crying Sansa in the floor, with her clothes ripped trying to cover herself up. Joffrey smirking from his throne.
"Joffrey." I said determined. He looked up at me, his face full of shock and surprise. He quickly regained consciousness of his surroundings and set a straight face.
"What are you doing here, sister? Have you decided to come to us from the Rock at least?" What an idiot, he knew why I left. It was partly his fault. "And also, must I remember you must call me Your Grace? I am the king, after all."
"I wish to speak alone with you, your highness." I sarcastically added the last part. He looked at me angrily but nodded. Everyone began leaving the room when Tyrion entered and guided Sansa to, I suppose, where her chambers were.
"What do you want?"
"Let's walk around the gardens." He scoffed but agreed. It's not that I particularly love the gardens, I just know that, in this castle, the walls seem to have ears. Once we were fan enough and completely alone I stopped walking.
"Our baby. It was a boy." I started. He looked weirdly happy, he hadn't been in a while and it looked nice on him.
"Where is he now? Can I meet him? Have you named him yet?" I smiled at how eager he seemed, but it rapidly faded into a sad look.
"He was a stillborn, he died." I decided to not tell him that he was like uncle Tyrion, just in case. He remained silent for a few moments, registering my words. These were hard news but I am not sure he really was affected by them.
"How was he?" It barely came as a whisper and I nearly didn't hear it.
"He had the brightest blond hair and big green eyes, just like you. He had my nose, though. He was very handsome, the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. He was so tiny, it looked like he was sleeping." I half smiled at the thought of my baby boy. He truly was the most handsome baby I have ever seen and I am not saying it because he is, was, my son. But because he really was, despite his small limbs and slightly bigger head, he was beautiful.
A few weeks had passed since I had arrived to King's Landing and Joffrey had become an uncontrollable monster. He was savage and a sadist. I even pitied Sansa, only a bit, though, I still didn't like her. Myrcella wrote me letters from Dorne saying she was in love with Tristan, the prince, and how wonderful everything was.
Tommen was not only getting taller but also more terrified of Joffrey, not thay I can blame him. Mother, well, let's just say she was being herself. And I, what was I doing? Sleeping with my brother. I drank moons tea to not get pregnant again, I didn't want to get through what I had with my firstborn again any time soon.
I was overall happy, the love of my life, ly family, my house, even grandfather was there! Everything was a well as it can be with Joffrey being king. Well, that was until that bitch from High Garden, Margaery Tyrell picked out her precious gossipy nose and ruined everything.
