I decided to ask father about going to Casterly Rock for a few weeks with grandfather, that is why I am walking towards his chambers before breaking my fast with mother. I knock on the door, ignoring the guards telling me that he is busy. When he tells me to open and come inside, not knowing who it was, I opened the door and let myself inside. I found him in his chair doing what he does best, drinking and enjoying the company of one of his ladies.

"Girl, what are you doing here?" He was clearly annoyed to see me. Guess the feeling was mutual.

"I came to ask you something, father. You see, grandfather asked me if I could spend some time in Casterly Rock with him. I wanted to ask you for permission. Can I go?"

"No." He answered barely letting me finish my sentence.

"Why not?"

"Because I say so." There, that is how we end our conversations every single time I ask him for something.

"Fine." I grumbled and left, I wasn't in the mood to argue with him.

I went to the hall to break my fast and, when I entered, I saw mother already there with a bowl of fruit on the table, I sat next to her and the kitchen wench brought me a plate with eggs. Once their smell filled my nostrils, I started feeling queasy. Mother looked at me with a worried face and, before she could say anything, I stood from my seat to find a pot and vomited there. Mother held my hair and rubbed my back until I felt better. It must have been something I ate last night, wait, I didn't have dinner yesterday because of my stomach ache. Strange.

"Joanna, how long have you been feeling like this?"

"A week, I think. It surely is nothing, mother. Do not fret." I tried not worrying her, but the frightened look on my face made her know there was something wrong. She helped me stand up and get to my chambers.

"What happened?" She asked me once we got there.

"I must have caught something, I will be fine."

"Joanna." She repeated waiting for me to open up to her.

"I have been seeing someone. I only got my moons blood two moons ago, I have drank that tea and everything but, what if I am pregnant?!" I was freaking out now.

"Is it that one you did not want to give me the name of back in Winterfell?" She was incredibly calm. I though she would be so mad, I mean, I am not married and pregnant and the princess. I nodded to answer her question. She sighed, she was disappointed and I could tell by her face, that she was mad at my irresponsability too. "You need to talk to a maester about this, not Pycelle though, maybe he knows what to do."

I went to a maester Lookward and told him everything, I knew he was reilable and no one took him seriously so, even if he did say something, nobody would believe it.

After examining me and my belly, he said I confirmed my thoughts, I was pregnant. It was Joffrey's, that I knew, how far along, I have no idea. Despite the recent arguments and threats from his part, I was still incredibly happy to have a baby with him. The maester said that it was too late to try anything to remove the babe without hurting me in the process.

I am not ready to be a mother, I am nearly seven and ten and most women are already married and with two children by now but, with my problems with my moons blood, I was still unmarried. Robb came into my thoughts, what would he think? We could always say I was raped and I am sure he would raise him as his own.

When I told mother about the news, that she wasn't very happy was an understatement. She was glad that I was having a baby, just not that it was out of wedlock and with someone she did not know.

I left her in the hall and went to find Joffrey. He was in his chambers, perfect, so I could speak privately with him. I knocked on the door and entered when he told me to.

"Joffrey, my love. There is something I must tell you." I was nervous as I did not know how he would react, he was known for his temper.

"Yes, Joanna? What troubles you?" He did not look very concerned.

"I am pregnant." He stared at me with shock for a few seconds before slapping me hard across the cheek. The spot where he had hit me stung and I raised my hand to it.

"What did you just say? I cannot believe you slept with that Stark boy. How could you?" He was clearly upset, which sort of relieved me. It meant he was not mad about the baby.

"Joffrey, I didn't bed Robb. The baby is yours." He let out a breath in relief.

"Fine. What are you going to do about it?"

"It? It is our baby, I planned on staying here until it becomes noticeable and then I could go to the Rock with grandfather. He loves me very much so maybe he will let me stay there. Then, we could say we found him in the street and take care of him or her." He nodded still in shock.

"Fine, but it better be a boy. If Sansa does not give me one I will need an heir and, who better than our son to be king?" I hugged him and kissed him, he was surprised at first but quickly kissed back. I couldn't think of anything else but Robb and how he would feel if he knew. The thought left my mind as soon as Joffrey started undressing me. How I wish I knew back then what was about to happen.
