"Here I present you Joanna of House Lannister, Second of her name Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms." I stood straight, my head held high, I was wearing a beautiful red and golden dress and my crown. It was made of silver, it kind of remembered me of the Iron Throne which, by the way, wasn't really comfortable.
I looked through the crowd and saw hundreds of people who I had never seen before. Curious, isn't it? When my baby died and I was in the cross, no one was there for me but, now that I am being crowned Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, everyone is being nice and close.
After the crowning ceremony I went to my chambers, there wasn't a feast this time. Not like there had been with Joffrey or Tommen.
This moment, this precise moment had been everything I had wished for since I was a little girl and yet, when I finally am here, I can't help but feel there's something off. There was a knock on the door and mother came into the room. She had short hair now and was wearing a black dress which matched her spirit.
"You know, I am proud of you." She sat on on bed next to me. I raised an eyebrow at her. "What? Am I not allowed to be proud of my daughter?" Now she raised an eyebrow at me.
"You are. Do you think I will be a good Queen?"
"No." I looked at her, tears started flooding my eyes, had anyone else said that and I wouldn't have cared but her, she is my mother, of course I care! "You won't be a good Queen because you will be the best one."
"You know I am the first Queen, right?" I smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"I do know that. Let me change my words, you will be the best ruler. You already have something in your favour the rest didn't."
"Mother, if you are about to say boobs you can stop there becau-"
"You don't have a dick, something men seem to find very smart, because they only think with it and about it."
"Okay, let's stop this conversation here. I do not want to talk about that, specially with my mother."
"Then who do you want to talk to? Your uncle Jaime? We two are the only ones you have left. Tyrion left for the enemy, your Grandfather died, your siblings. Everyone left, except for us." She placed her hand on her stomach.
"How long?" I asked.
"How long what?" She looked confused, but no more than I was.
"How long have you know you are pregnant?" Her eyes widened the size of aunt Genna's body, and believe me when I tell you she is huge.
"Yesterday and, before you ask, yes, it is Jaime's." I am not really sure why, but I wasn't that surprised about the baby's father. I smiled at her.
"You better be a girl. You hear me?" I pretended to talk to the babe, I was happy but, at the same time I couldn't help but be jealous because she was about to have her fifth child when I couldn't even save mine.
"I hope so too."
"Does he know?"
"Yes, I told him yesterday, when I found out."
"I am happy for you." I hugged her tightly until the door flew open revealing Qyburn, the idiot who mother wanted as hand of the Queen. Of course she won the argument.
"My Queen, my lady." He bowed his head lightly. "You have a visit from Daenerys Targaryen. Do you wish to meet her?"
"Yes, lead her to the dragon pit."
I changed my dress from the coronation to a black one which had a silver armour covering my chest. I tied my hair in a low but and put my crown on again. I had to show her who rules here.
I walked airy with my head held high, my back straight and an unreadable face. I took a deep breath and walked through the gates of the pit. When I reached there, everyone was waiting there. Even the dragon queen who I saw showing off her dragon trying to pull off an incredible entrance. But, I wasn't there to see it, what a pity. Notice the irony there.
Without bowing or even greeting them I sat on my chair. I looked around discreetly and saw someone I hadn't seen in years, actually, since the last time I was in Winterfell.
"Jon Snow, nice to see you again." I told him trying to not show interest.
"Joanna, it has, indeed, been a long time." He smiled faintly at me and I returned him the smile back. Daenerys seemed to notice since she immediately proceeded with talking about white walkers and fighting them together and blah, blah, blah. She was mad and I could see it in her eyes.
Suddenly, who I recognised as Sandor Glegane, threw a box to the floor and a monstrous creature ran towards me. Out of reflex i grabbed the knife I always keep strapped in my thigh and sunk it deep in the middle of the beast's face. Sandor pulled from the chains that where holding him. Jon walked towards him and lit up a torch.
"We can only kill them with fire, Valyrian steel or dragon glass. There are thousands of them, my Queen. We need your help or there will be jo future."
"Okay, fine." Everyone sighed in relief. "But, I have some conditions."
"Let's hear them." It was the first time Daenerys spoke.
"My family will be excluded of all punishment you may think they deserve. Which include my mother, my uncle Jaime and me. Second, the war for the throne will be put on hold until said white walkers are defeated and we are both in position to fight and, last but not least, Joan shall not pick sides between us both."
"Only I you promise to keep your word." I was surprised she had traded Jon so easily, even if he tried telling her not to. "Now, do you accept?"
"I will consider your proposition." And, will a my pride, I walked away to my chambers, leaving everyone awestruck.
