It's been a few hours since I found out my mom died, and Dallas asked me if I would date him. I kind of liked the idea of Dallas and I dating. If I was willing to go to bed with him, then he's worth my time. We were still sitting on the couch in the living room, along with the rest of the gang, who was trying to make me feel better. I looked at Dallas for a moment, as he still waited for my answer. But all I did, was hug him tightly, burring my face in his chest. I really didn't want to talk, but I knew that if I kept on staring at Dallas, he would keep me babbling.
"Sorry if I stain your shirt with my tears" I mumbled. I felt his arms wrap around me.
"It's alright, sweetheart" he replied. It was quiet for a while. And it bothered me to have the room silenced. It had me think about my mother, and that was the last thing I wanted to do right now. I pulled away from Dally and looked at the gang.
"SomeonereallyneedstotalkorI'llstartthinkingaboutmymomandthat'sthelastthingIwanttodorightnow" I said, maybe too fast for them to understand. They looked at me with confusion written all over their faces. "What? Did I say that too fast?"
"Hell ya you did, I couldn't even understand you" Two-Bit replied. I slightly smiled.
"Hey Sky, what if I take you out, right now?" I turned to Dallas, who whispered that to me.
"For what?"
"To take your mind off things" he replied. I nodded at the idea, which made him smile. He stood up, and extended his hand out to me. I gladly took it, and he pulled me to my feet.
"Where're y'all headed?" Dallas looked over at Soda, who was waiting for an answer from the bad boy.
"I'm taking your cousin on a night out, just to see if she'll feel any better" Dallas replied. Soda merely cocked an eyebrow at Dallas.
"Wow, Dally, I'm surprised. Never knew you cared about others" Soda teased. Dally glared at him for a while, before I began pulling him along.
"C'mon, Dally" I said. We left the full house, and began walking to wherever we were going. One thing I noticed when we were walking, was how Dally was trying to hold my hand. I mean, I could feel his fingers brushing against mine. What if he really likes me? Nah, I doubt that.
"Sky, we're here" Dally said. We walked into a diner, not Dairy Burger, that's for sure. He sat down at a booth, while I headed for the restroom. He was going to order for me, so I figured that I should go to the restroom. When I came back, I found a blind flirting with him. What surprised me, was that he didn't look interested. I walked up to them, and the blond turned to me, popping her gum and with an annoyed look on her face.
"Can you move aside? I'm going to sit down" I said.
"Why should I?"
"Ugh, cause I'm his girlfriend, so go whore around somewhere else" I spat. She narrowed her eyes at me. "Got a staring problem? Go fix it, and while your at it, fix your face too." She gasped.
"Who are you to tell me that?"
"I'm a customer, a real one, not some waitress with fake boobs and hits on guys all the time" I sassed. She looked pissed, exactly what I was going for. I saw her hand go up, ready to slap me. "Go ahead, as long as you start it, I'll be able to finish it."
"Whatever" she replied, and walked off. I sat next to Dallas, who immediately started holding my hand.
"So, I'm your boyfriend now, huh?" I rolled my eyes, but smiled. "I'm taking that as a yes" he said. I laughed.
"Okay, do whatever you want" I responded. He smirked at me, before kissing me. It took me by surprise, and I didn't see it coming. I kissed him back. We were suddenly interrupted, when we heard a loud scream. I turned, only to see the waitress that flirted with Dally, storm out the diner. I smiled. Guess she got fired.
