Going home

Peter stood there, waiting for my answer. Should I forgive him? After the shit he put me through in 5ht grade?

"I don't know, Peter. You really hurt me and I thought you weren't like that" I said. He looked sad by my responds.

"Just know I really am sorry about what I did to you, and I still like you, a lot" he stated. This took me by surprise. Suddenly, the door flew open and Dally walked in looking quiet pissed off.

"Who the hell are you and what are you doing here?" My breath got caught in my throat when he said that. His voice was stern and loud, not like I've heard before.

"Dallas, calm down, he's just an old friend from 5ht grade" I said, hoping he would just chill. Peter just stood there, not knowing what to do. "Peter, I think you should go."

"Sky-"

"Just go" I said, a bit louder. Peter left without saying another word. It fell silent and I knew I was gonna get yelled at. Dallas looked at me, and I waited for him to start screaming. But, he didn't. "Dalllas?"

"What?" His voice went back to normal. Is he mad?

"Um... are you alright?" He shrugged and tried looking cool.

"Who was that guy?" I knew it, i knew he would ask that.

"He's an old friend, that's all" I replied truthfully. He sat in the chair next to the bed and sighed. "When are they going ti bring me my babies?"

"In a bit" Dally responded. I got his hand and held it in mine, but that didn't change the expression on his face.

I haven't seen Dallas in a long time, and I'm starting to wonder if he still wants to be with me or not. The gang hasn't seen him either, which worries me. If none of us have talked to him, then where could he be? The door opened and Soda walked in.

"You ready, Sky?"

"Yea, I'm all set" I replied. Soda got my bag from the floor.

"I'll get Two-Bit to help carry the twins." I nodded and walked over to Jacquie and Chance. They look so cute when they're asleep. I stared at their faces, seeing how much they looked like Dallas. Especially Chance. Both of them were already all dressed up and ready to go.

"Where's the little sucker at?" a joyful Two-Bit asked, walking into the room. I smiled at him before turning back to my babies. He walked over to me. "Whooee, aren't they just cute."

"Yes, they are, aren't they?" I replied. "So, you carry Jacqueline and I'll carry Chance." He nodded and picked up Jacquie. Once he held her in his arms, a smile spread across his face. Her little eyes slowly opened up and she looked up at him.

"Well, looky here, she looks just like her mama" he said. I smiled. I'm guessing he's going to love Jacquie. I slowly picked up Chance and watched him sleep for a while. "C'mon, Sky. The gang's already waitin' downstairs." Two-Bit and I started on our way down. And, just like he said, the whole gang was here, except Dallas.
