Troubles

I woke up with strong pain in my stomach. I began sitting up slowly, not wanting to do anything to cause more pain.

"God, why can't you wait until the morning?" I stood up and began heading towards the door, when I heard Soda's sleepy voice.

" Sky? Are you okay?"

"Yea, I just need some water" I replied. I heard him getting out of bed, and walking over to me.

"You rest, I'll get it for you" he said, running a hand through his hair. I sighed as I began sitting back down on the bed.

"So I got up for nothing, would of saved me a lot of trouble" I mumbled to myself. I heard a chuckle escape his mouth as he walked out of the room, leaving the door open. I lied back down, and tried to relax. But the pain, it felt like it was coursing throughout my body, circulating my stomach. I felt like gripping it tightly, but I knew I couldn't.

"Here". Soda walked into the room, holding a glass of water. I sat up, and drank it, hoping it would help. It didn't. But it was worth a try... not really. I took a deep breath, and tried going back to sleep. I can do it, I know I can. My due date isn't for five months more, and in a four days, I get to find out the gender. I can't wait.

Argh, I don't want to get up, but I had to. I can't stay in bed all day, I have to go to work. Slowly, I began getting up. When, I felt something going up my throat. In a flash, I ran out of the room, and ran into the restroom. Good thing there wasn't anybody there. I kneeled down in front of the toilet, and almost instantly, whatever was in my throat, came out. Morning sickness. I sighed as I stopped throwing up, and flushed it down.

"Why didn't I just wait?" I mumbled to myself.

"Awe, c'mon now, it's not that bad." I turned around, coming face to face with Pony. I slowly stood up, and walked out of the restroom, Pony following behind.

"You don't know what I have to deal with, Pony. Pain, morning sickness, weird cravings, many stuff" I replied, trying not to sound harsh. He gave me a slight smile, but didn't make eye contact at all. I wrapped y arms around his neck, and rested my chin on his shoulder. "So, where's El? I haven't seen her lately" I asked.

"She's in the cooler, yet again" he replied. I chuckled.

"Can't keep your girl out of trouble, huh?" He shook his head.

"Nope, but I love her" he replied with a bright smile. It made me happy to see him smile, I really care about this kid. I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and pulled away. Pony and I walked into the dining room, where Soda was. Darry cooking something that smelled good, as usual. I sat down in the chair next to Soda,

"Morning guys" I said.

"Hey" they both replied.

"How you feeling, Sky?" I shrugged.

"Aright" I replied. Darry placed a plate of eggs in front of me, and a fork. I began eating, when I heard the front door spring open.

"Wooeee, anybody home?" Two-Bit's voice echoed throughout the house. He walked into the dining room, and gave me a tight hug.

"Hey there, Two-Bit, how's it going?"

"It's going great, how about you?" I smiled and rubbed my tummy.

"I think I'm showing already, and I think it's moving inside of me, too" I replied.

"Baby, you've been showing for some time now." I turned around, and found Dallas standing behind me. He smiled at me, and kissed me softly. I smiled against his lips, and pulled back, to see his loving brown eyes.
