I opened my eyes as I didn't feel anything happen to me for a few seconds and here I was, standing in an unknown forest— the exact forest that I just saw. I did a slow 360° turn to take in my surroundings and it looked beautiful, the weather was warm as it had a tint on breezy wind blow past every few moments and it was honestly refreshing.

I took a step forward and carried on going slowly as I tried to find a way out. I didn't even know if anybody was here where I am or if there is anybody nearby. I put my phone that I was tightly clutching onto back into my little bag as I stepped over a log and kept going straight as I hoped to find a way out soon.

After probably about 25 minutes of walking in a straight line, I came upon a cliff, I walked to the edge and looked down to see the wave crashing violently against the rocks down below which made me shiver as it started to get a bit more chilly as the sun only just started to set. I pulled my jumper sleeves over my hands and tucked them into my palms and hugged my body to try and keep warm.

"Yah! What are you doing here? It's dangerous." I whipped my head over to the source of words and saw a beautiful woman.

She had smooth fair skin, long wavy hair, beautiful big eyes. She was so beautiful and she not only looked fierce, she also had a fierce aura but it was also kind.

"Hey, I asked you a question." She came closer and spoke more softly.

She sniffed the air and when she looked at me she furrowed her eyebrows slightly but covered it quickly with a smile.

"So why are you here? I've never seen you before..?"

"I-I don't k-know...it's con-confusing." At this point I was stuttering for two reasons.

One, I didn't know the woman and it was making me uncomfortable and anxious and two, I'm freezing my ass off. My teeth chattered and my whole body shivered as the wind got stronger and the cold air became icy, but I noticed that she didn't even flinch.

"You're really cold, how about I get you warmed up and then we can talk for a bit and how you're here, okay?" I just nodded.

I may not know this woman and I also may not be comfortable, but I just want to warm up or else hyperthermia will kick in.

"Are you feeling better now?" She asked and I nodded while sinking into the dozen of blankets surrounding my body and with also a heater in front of my bare legs. "My name is Shin Se-kyung, what's yours?" She set a cup of hot chocolate in front of me.

"Ch-Choi Y-Y/N."

"You're still stuttering, are you still cold?" She worriedly looked at me.

"N-No—I m-mean yes but, I-I stutter when I'm with pe-people I don't kno-know, it's a-anxiety." I messily spoke as I tried to clear up the misunderstanding quickly.

"Ahh, okay." She nodded. "So what we're you doing out there? I know everyone in this area and I've never seen you before?" She sipped on her coffee with furrowed eyebrows.

"Actually it's h-hard to ex-explain..." I looked down to the blankets and traced the seams with my eyes.

"I have time to listen, I just want to help you out." She smiled reassuringly at me and I nodded.

I told her what had happened and she listened very intently to every word I spoke even though I stuttered quite a bit. She furrowed her eyebrows once I stopped talking as if she was having a conversation in her head so I just sipped onto my half full cup of hot chocolate and I figured that she was trying to piece the situation together.

"When was the last time you ate?" She suddenly asked.

"Nearly s-six hours ag-ago." I put my cup down and pulled the blankets closer to my body.

"I'll make you something to eat then!" She grinned while standing up.

"N-No you don't ha-have to!" I tried to stop her.

I felt guilty that I was taking up her time with my situation and now she's letting me eat her food.

"I insist, just stay seated and warm up a little more, okay?" She patted my head before she left. "Is Tteokbokki okay for you to eat?!" She yelled from the kitchen.

"Y-Yes!"

I looked around her living room and it was very neat and nicely decorated. White marble. That was the theme of her house pretty much and it matches her vibe well. After a few minutes she came over with two bowels full to the brim of tteokbokki and a pair of chopsticks already in the bowel.

"I'll go and get us some water." I nodded as she passed me my bowel and she placed hers on the coffee table.

This is too much food...wayyy too much.

"Here you go." She put the bottle of cold water onto a coaster on the coffee table to the condensation of the water doesn't drip onto the wood and leave a mark.

"T-Thanks." I shyly mumbled to her and we started eating in silence.

The food was honestly delicious and very flavourful which I loved, it reminded me of mom's cooking. I placed the 1/4 eaten bowel of tteokbokki onto the coffee table and gulped a few mouthfuls of water before leaning back onto the sofa.

"Y/N eat more! You barely ate anything." She frowned at me with sauce around her lips.

"I'm n-not a big eat-eater." I smiled at her.

"Just a few more bites? Please?" She gave me her puppy eyes while she jutted out her bottom lip and I sighed.

Her puppy eyes are really cute.

"Ok-Okay, fi-ne." She grinned when she saw me taking hold of the bowel again and picking up the chopsticks.

But what she didn't know was that this wasn't going to end well. I ate a few more pieces before putting my bowl down again and drinking the rest of my water as she scoffed down the last few bits of her food.

"I'll get my friend to eat your leftovers if you don't want it?" She said but sounded more of a question and I just nodded.

And that's when I felt it.

"Se-ky-kyung...where's your ba-bathroom?"

"Over there, down the hall and to your left—" I stood up with my hand over my mouth and ran to the bathroom.

I threw my hair to my back and behind my ears as I kneeled on the floor I front of the toilet. My back arching as I heaved up everything I ate today and soon felt Se-kyung holding my hair and rubbing my back to help me which caused me to heave more.

Tears squeezed through my eyes as they shut tightly when my stomach would squeeze itself causing me to vomit even more making my throat burn. I whimpered as one of my hands came up to my neck and held it softly because of the pain. I breathed heavily with my face still over the toilet and her rubbing my back.

"I-I'm so-sorry." I whispered when the pain in my throat burned as I spoke.

"It's okay, don't worry. I think you should stay the night since you're not in a good condition to go back home." I just nodded as I was too tired to respond.

She helped me up to wash my mouth before giving me some of her pyjamas and we went to bed together since neither of us wanted the other to sleep on the sofa.
