i sighed and leaned my head on her shoulder. we sat out on the porch in our party dresses for hours until it was time to go to bed.

Normani's POV
"'if yo dude come close to me' drop. 'he gon wanna ride off in a ghost with me' quick turn. 'i'll make him do itttt'," i spoke the lyrics and instructed each dance move.
"'to expose the freak..' and pop! then I just want y'all to go in okay you guys?"
this was my first time teaching a class and i was really pleased with everyone so far,
well almost everyone.
we went through the routine 4 or 5 times before I let separate groups perform in front of the class.
"group 2!" i called and looked down at my clipboard and rolled my eyes. kendall.
"lets go baby!" harry called from the other side of the room watching. i rolled my eyes again and looked at lauren. she nodded her head and ran on to the dance floor next to kendall.
"alright ready? 5, 6, 7, 8," the music began and the group started to dance.
lauren invaded kendall's space as much as possible and i coughed to hold in my laughter. harry made eye contact with me from across the room and gave me a look.
i shrugged my shoulders and turned my attention back to the floor just as the dance ended.
harry began walking across the floor to me and i sighed.
"mani.. seriously?"
"what?"
"we've been together for a year, can you and lauren stop acting like children and be nice to her?"
"harry she's taking my dance class, how am i not being nice?"
"i don't understand what the problem is," he laughed.
"there's no problem, we're all fine."
"hey!" lauren ran over out of breath, "whats going on?"
"harry thinks that you and i aren't nice enough to kendall," i rolled my eyes and laughed, "can you please tell him we're all fine. we're basically friends."
"oh yeah," lauren nodded her head, "in fact.. i was just about to invite her to our girls day, right mani?"
"what?!" i half shouted and looked at lauren with wide eyes.
harry cocked an eyebrow at me and crossed his arms over his chest. i cleared my throat and laughed lightly, "right... we were going to invite her. right now. go ahead lauren." i faked a smile at harry and he smiled back.
"normani!" Ally's voice filled the intercom, "we need you in the front office. you have a visitor,"
"i'll be back in 10 minutes you guys!" i called out and jogged down the stairs. to the main office, i had no idea who could visiting but oh well.
i opened the door to the office and my visitor stood from the couch.
"normani,"
"hey.." i breathed out in shock.

fucking shit. fuck. damn. ugh.
'yeah i was just about to invite her to our girls day'
good job lauren, good job.
i took a deep breath before walking over to kendall.
"hey kendall!" i spoke in my sweetest, most cheerful voice.
"heeeyyyyy, Lawrence right?" she squinted her eyes and turned her head to the side.
i took a deep breath before i exploded on this dumb bitch and she started laughing.
"oh my gosh, i'm totally joking"
"oh," i laughed with her only mine was fake, "i was about to say, after a year of being in my house to see harry all the time? ha."
her laughter slowly stopped and she smiled, "but seriously whats up lauren? is everything okay?"
"yeah everything's fine. normani and i just wanted to see if you would want to join us on our girls day next saturday?"
"girls day?" she looked up at me while tying her shoe.
"yeah, you know spa treatment during the day, getting shitfaced at night." i explained in the most simple way possible.
"oooo sounds fun, sure!" she stood up and smiled at me.
"greeeaaaaaatttt..." i smiled without showing any teeth and turned to walk away. 'ooo sounds fun, sure' i mimicked her voice and rolled my eyes.
