"M, these two weeks really have been the best! I can't believe Will and I are finally a couple! I've never had a serious relationship but I think what we have might be turning into one." I was talking with M while packing.
"I'm happy that you're happy with Will and that he is happy with you, that I'm happy with Zac..." There it was again, her dreamy look. "And that he of course is happy with me." She finished.
"Yeah, you know you could just say everyone's happy but I know that you really wanted to say I'm happy with Zac and he's happy with me." She giggled.
"I love spending time with Will and when he finally kissed me it was just amazing!" The kiss wasn't anywhere special but it was still great. It was just three days after our date and he came up to me said hello and then kissed me. He said he regretted not having it done on the night we went out.
"Ashley." She looked at me with a silly and I shook my head because I knew what was coming next. That's how it always is with us. We have known each other for so long and because we're neighbors we literally spend all the time together. Since I'm an only child she's like a real sister to me. Now, where was I? Oh right...
Like I was saying I shook my head and smiled: "Fine I'll hear it one more time. Since, I won't be seeing you for 2 weeks." I smiled but not as much as she was because she was about to tell me the story. Her and Zac's first kiss. I had heard it a thousand of times but since I was going on and on about Will it was only fair to let her talk about her boyfriend too.
"It was the 9th September when we first met." Oh, she meant the whole story.
"We had Algebra together and we hit off right away. He was always so sweet and he still is. And because neither of us like equations... On second thought, I guess no one does. Anyway we started talking during classes and everything. But with us everything was so simple he wasn't like the other guys it just somehow happened. I'm seriously the luckiest girl..." and then she went on and on. I liked listening to her because she looked happier than ever and her face was a little red. You could really see true love in her eyes.
"I can't believe you're leaving." M said after helping me pack. I was going to miss her and Will so much. Of course, who wouldn't miss their best friend and boyfriend? "I'm so jealous of you!" she laughed but there was still a little bit of truth there.
Oh that's right! I completely forgot, I'm sorry I haven't told you why I was leaving yet. Don't worry I wasn't moving away or anything I was just going to France for two weeks.
Every four years our school organizes a school-exchange with a high school in Paris that is called Lycée La Fontain. The translation for the name would be The Fountain High School. Only students from French class get to go and I was lucky enough to be one of them. Monica was taking Spanish so she didn't get a chance to participate. Anyway, I was going to be staying with a student's family for two weeks. It was going to be amazing!
They mostly paired us by gender but since there wasn't the same number of American and French student some students were mixed. I happened to be one of them. I wasn't really happy about it because I would've been more comfortable with a girl but I didn't have a choice. My exchange partner was Louis, the "s" is pronounced silently and before we went to France we video-chatted a few times just to get to know each other a little. It was awkward at first but he turned out to be really nice. I have to admit I loved his accent. I wasn't interested in him or anything but I mean who doesn't love a French accent?
Anyway, the plan was for us to go to France for two weeks. Then after we came home about a month later the French students would come to us for two weeks as well.
I laughed at Monica: "You know it's your fault you decided not to take French."
"Yeah, I know. I can't believe you are leaving me for two weeks."
"I know right! Isn't it awesome?" I joked.
"What? Leaving me? I don't think we've ever been apart for so long."
"Aww, I'll miss you too M but don't worry I'll be back soon." I comforted her.
"I know, but it just won't be the same without you. Oh and don't worry I'll keep an eye on Will."
I laughed: "Thanks, but you don't need to, I trust him. I'm actually meeting him in an hour to say goodbye."
"Ash, promise me this." she said with a serious face. "Promise that you will try to have as much fun as you can for the both of us."
I responded: "Pinky promise." We laughed. I swear sometimes we were acting like kids but that's what it is about. Having fun and spending time with the people we love. Childish or not it makes us happy.
When I finished packing I met with Will in a park nearby his house. We talked and kissed and stayed there till it got dark. He pulled me closer into his arms and said: "You're really leaving tomorrow. My Ashley-bear is leaving tomorrow."
"Yes, Willy-boo." I sighed. "I'm going to miss you."
"Let's just enjoy the time we have left." Okay I know it's sounds stupid that we called each other these ridiculous nicknames but they were cute.
When he kissed me goodbye I felt his passion and affection. We had only been together for two weeks and I was already going away but I had no doubt that when I got back we would have many more.

The next day I still had no idea I was actually going to Paris, the city of love, lights and fashion! I was getting more and more excited by every minute. It was Friday and my mum drove me to the airport. I said goodbye to my mum and joined the group. We had to wait another 2 hours before taking off. When I finally set down on the plane for the first time in my life I looked through the window and nervously thought to myself: "Paris, here I come!" Okay, I admit I was overreacting again but that was probably because I watch way too many TV-shows and movies.

Heylo! :) {My mix of hey and hello! :P You'll get use to it and me!}
Anyway, travelling time! Ashley got the chance to go to Paris! Who would want to be her? I sure would! Too bad that the distance will separate her from her Willy-boo! What did you think about their nicknames... Haha, childish I know but it's actually an important part of the story! Oops, don't want to spoil too much...
