A little while later that same day
Iwaizumi, Akina, and Emyo had planned for Kai and Himori to come over for dinner.
The doorbell rings and Iwaizumi opens the door, he smiles at Kai then looks behind him to see Himori looking at the ground with a guilty expression. Iwaizumi steps aside to let them inside, they walk inside.
Himori walks over to Akina and Emyo. "H-hey" Akina and Emyo smile and speak at the same time "Hello" Oikawa squirms in Akina's arms as he continues to reach for his mother. Himori smiles and takes Tōru and sets him on her hip. "Hi, little one" Himori pushes Oikawa's hair away from his face. Tōru lays his head on Himori's shoulder. Akina pets Oikawa's head "He really likes you" Himori smiles and nods as she looks down at Tōru.
Himori looks at Iwaizumi "Does he like pacifiers" Iwaizumi looks at Oikawa who is sucking on the small soother "Yeah, he does I bout him a couple today at the store and he seems to really like them" Himori nods "Alright then I'll buy him some next time I go to the store" Iwaizumi smiles
Himori walks into the front room where Makki and Matsun are sitting. As she sits down she talks to Tōru "Hm maybe I'll get you a pink one, and a purple one, and maybe teal and white one, Gasp and maybe a black and red one" Tōru doesn't understand what she is saying so he just tilts his head in confusion. Himori laughs and rubs her nose against Oikawa's nose.
Himori notices Makki and Matsun staring at her "Um hi?" Makki responds "You really have changed, we're happy for Tōru" Himori looks down "yeah, I'm really sorry for the things I have put him through" Makki and Matsun nod
The doorbell rings and Iwaizumi opens it to see Sugawara "Oh hey Suga, what are you doing here" Sugawara pulls out a notebook "Well the other day when Tōru came over to study, he left his notebook there so I decided to return it today but since nobody was home when I went to his house, I assumed he was here" Iwaizumi nods "Well he's regressed right now but I am sure he would love to see you, and you can stay for dinner" Sugawara smiles "I would like that" Iwaizumi moves and lets Sugawara into the house.
Sugawara sets the notebook on the counter and walks over to the front room. He looks at Oikawa. Oikawa smiles and jumps down from his mother's lap then crawls over to Sugawara. " Hi RuRu!" Sugawara picks Oikawa up and sets him on his hip "Your lighter than I thought you would be" Oikawa tilts his head then rubs his nose against Sugawara's. Sugawara laughs "Now where did you learn that" Himori stands up and pets Oikawa's head "I'm pretty sure I just accidentally taught him that."Sugawara looks at Himori "I think it's adorable though" Emyo calls out "Dinners ready" Everyone makes their way to the table. Sugawara puts Tōru down and the boy crawls over to his bowl then starts eating along with everyone else.
After dinner Sugawara, Makki, Matsun, Himori, and Kai leave. Then Akina, Emyo, Iwaizumi, and Tōru head off to bed.
