"So yeah, I'm friends with Sparkles, Archer boy and Adora..." Catra told Scorpia.

The dark-eyed girl blinked. "But I thought you didn't like Adora." She tilted her head as if she were a confused puppy.

At this point that's what Catra felt like she was talking to. "I...it's complicated..." was all she could say. "You can be in their group with me or not, I don't care."

"Are you kidding!? I'd love to!" Scorpia scooped her up and nearly crushed her with a hug.

Catra frowned. She knew Glimmer wasn't the slightest bit happy about her being with Adora. If she could call it that. The blonde confessed her feelings. The same feelings she was feeling. But never had the guts to say.

"Cool." She kept her cool.

"So uh, what do we do? Meet them somewhere? Is there a hangout?" The tall girl asked as she put her friend down.

Catra looked at her phone. "Adora wants to meet us at Glimmer's. Her mom's never home so that should be...a thing."

"Great!" Scorpia rushed out the door.

"Scorpia!" Catra ran after her friend. Good grief for someone so tall she was definitely fast.

Scorpia suddenly stopped. "Hey wildcat what's the address?" She asked.

Catra sighed and led the way right to the place. Part of her hated this, but another part wanted to see Adora again. The heterochromatic-eyed girl could feel her heart race whenever she was around her. I'm starting to think that crap about fate might be true...

"We're here! I think," Scorpia tilted her head like a confused dog.

"Yep this is it." Catra knocked on the door and waited.

The door opened and to the girl's surprise, it was Perfuma. "Oh, hello!" She smiled.

Scorpia waved. "Hi! We're here for Adora and the others."

"Come in, we're just eating," the girl walked them inside.

As she matched the slim-girl's steps she could swear time had stopped. Her eyes landed on Adora. She had her hair in that untamed style again. It...did something. The girl couldn't name what it was but it was certainly something.

"Oh, hey Catra," the blue-eyed girl waved.

Glimmer was sitting next to her, eating a cupcake.

"Hey Adora..." Catra tried to ignore how awkward she probably sounded right now and just sat down next to her, not caring for how angry it seemed to make Glimmer. "You good Sparkles?"

"Just...perfect..." the pastel-pinkette muttered, visibly tensing, though only calming down when Bow put his hand on her thigh.

"Looks like Archer's keeping her in check," Catra whispered to Adora, causing the girl to stiffen.

"She's...taking a minute to adjust," Adora said.

Catra shrugged and was suddenly being offered a plate of...sweets. By Mermista.

"Do you want it or what?" The dark-skinned girl asked with a raised brow.

"Thanks." Catra took it and shoved one in her mouth. Her eyes widened and she shoved another. "Damn this isn't half bad..."

"Thanks. I made them myself," Perfuma chirped with a happy grin.

"Your culinary skills are great," Scorpia praised. "I wish I could do something like that."

"Maybe you can drop by my house and I can teach you," the blonde offered happily.

Catra looked at Adora, who looked glad to be in a tension-free atmosphere. In fact there was a smile on her face, a smile she...she almost wanted to take a picture of so it lasted longer. How did things come to this...?

"So cat-girl's like...not creepy and following you anymore?" Mermista asked as she drank from a water bottle.

"Yeah. It's a...long story..." Adora responded.

"Her gaydar went of," Glimmer stated without missing a beat. "Even if I don't like who it pointed towards, I just want her happy."

"You know I have hearing," Catra looked Glimmer's way.

"Good." Was all Glimmer had to say.

"Look I know I did some shit and I feel bad about it alright?" The girl snapped.

Glimmer sighed. "Calm down, I'm sorry. I get you feel bad..."

Adora looked at Glimmer. She wanted to say something but held her tongue.

Catra raised a brow. "Adora...?"

Wordlessly, the blonde stood up and walked to somewhere.

"Adora wait!" Catra went after her. God was this behemoth of a house a maze? She just had to follow her footsteps. Wherever the hell they were going...

Her ears picked them up again and found the led to a door. Knocking, she was met with Adora...staring right at her. "I hate when Glimmer gets like this...I know she's looking out for me but..." she didn't finish.

Catra didn't say anything other than simply hug her. "Feels familiar doesn't it...?"

"Yeah..." the blonde just stood there.

"Catra...thank you.."
