Scorpia was sitting beside Catra as she and the others were watching a horror movie. Rogelio holding Kyle, mostly protecting him from the gory and nauseating parts. Lonnie was complaining about why the people couldn't just stick together and they might stay alive. While Catra all together just looked bored at the screen.
"Oh my God Deborah's gonna die." Lonnie groaned. Catra scoffed. "Come on, her name is Deborah, there was never any hope for her." She retorted.
"I think she'll make it." Kyle jumped in, but the pair ignored him. His tall green-haired friend just patted the top of his head, his face devoid of emotion as usual. Scorpia smiled a small one in the scrawny blonde boy's direction. She liked Kyle's slight optimism in certain situations.
Scorpia suddenly felt something and glanced to see Catra's hand on her own. Inside, she was freaking out. The tall girl kept her eyes glued to the screen in front of her.
"Five bucks says Chad dies Ro." Lonnie said to her friend, who simply blinked and shrugged his shoulders. Catra was silent, watching the characters in the film run from the killer.
"What do you think Scorpia?" Catra asked. The girl looked at her brunette companion, trying to play it cool. "O-oh uh, yeah sure he'll totally survive." She replied quickly.
Lonnie looked at the girl over her shoulder. "Are you looking at the girl characters on the screen again?" She teased. Scorpia blushed at this. "Y-yeah." It was a lie but thankfully they bought it. She did it so much in fact, they teased her.
"Which one was it?" Scorpia heard Catra ask. The girl looked at the screen and pointed to one of the characters. It was Ellie. Catra blinked. "The smart character? Good choice."
"She's totally gonna live." Lonnie decided immediately. Scorpia just went back to watching the film.
A little bit later, all of them were asleep with the exception of Scorpia, who was watching the end credits play. She looked at Catra, who was leaning on her shoulder, snoozing away. The tall female let out a yawn and began to drift off herself.

By the time it was morning, Lonnie, Scorpia, and Catra all walked home. Lonnie walked back to her parent's house while Catra stayed at Scorpia's place since she generally didn't have anywhere to stay. It wasn't a problem since her parents liked the brunette's company and how they made their daughter happy.
Catra was the only friend Scorpia had since some of the other girls wouldn't be friends with her.
"Thanks again for letting me crash here." Catra said as she walked inside right for the girl's room. Scorpia smiled at her. "We're friends, of course I'd let you stay here!" She chirped.
Catra didn't react to that statement as she made herself comfortable on the inflatable bed she used since the first time Scorpia's allowed her to stay. "You hungry?" She asked. The tall girl blinked in thought. "A little bit but not too hungry."
The brunette looked at her with a raised brow. "I feel in the mood for some pancakes." She suggested. Scorpia's eyes lit up as if she were a kid in a candy store. "Me too! Let's go!" She said picking the brunette up and carrying her under her arm and out the door with excitement in a run.
Catra rolled her eyes, letting it happen. She was used to Scorpia's overly-kind nature at this point. Afterall, they had been friends since...she pushed away the memory that seemed to rattle in her head and was aware of the fact that Scorpia put her down.
Walking inside, Catra saw some people talking and eating their food. Her eyes glanced around and suddenly, she thought she saw a certain blonde girl. Her eyes widened as she saw Adora, with her messy ponytail and her short pinkette friend Glimmer sitting at a table.
The brunette got an idea and felt a playful smile form on her lips. "Hey Scorpia, you order the food okay? I gotta go to the bathroom." She lied. Luckily her friend believed it, as she got in line behind some short girl with a head of purple hair.
Catra's attention was on Adora. She wasn't sure if it was because of something that drew her to Adora or fate or some weird nonsense like that, but whatever it was, it always seemed to make her and Adora's paths cross no matter what. But Catra loved it. Making Adora all flustered and awkward, messing with her head—it felt like a rush.
