Bittersweet // Complete

Hi! It's been a while since I finished updating Bittersweet here, and I've had some questions so I thought I'd take a minute to answer them 😊

Firstly, there will be no sequel to Bittersweet. This is the end of the journey I shared with Noah and Brianna. When this story took off and people wanted to read more, I tired my best to come up with the story ahead in a way that would allow me to create a sequel. I even had the bare bones of a plot in mind, but it was cliché, overused, and too tacky seeming for me to be excited about it. Some of you know that I've been friends with Noah and Brianna for over six years now, but I genuinely think that this is where I must leave them.

Brianna and Noah are special characters in their own right, and no one can take away the love I have for them. But if I continued to write about them, I would never be able to give them a story they were worthy of. Some things are truly better left unsaid, so this is where we stop.

Secondly, if you're wondering what happens next, I'll just drop in a brief idea of what happened after Noah left Brianna in the greenhouse. (By brief I mean I'm going to dump my notes to the sequel here as eloquently as possible.)

Phew, that was a lot. Too much angst and not enough fluff makes for a very frustrated Pari, so I just couldn't find it in myself to write the story fully.

Thirdly, to everyone asking me random stuff about the characters, here are some answers:

Noah likes chicken wings more than nuggets.

Brianna has never given Noah a blowjob (I don't know why that question came up, but I saw it in my DMS and nearly choked.)

Sophie listens to a lot of Taylor Swift, and Alex hates it. (He pretends to, but he knows all the words to the bridge of champagne problems)

Noah does not listen to Taylor Swift.

Eleanor won't come back to Noah's life, but she does reach out to Sophie. Sophie does not forgive her and asks her to stay out of her life. (As she should, really)

(I don't know if she reaches out to Brianna but I am guessing she is too ashamed to and Brianna probably won't like it.)

River finds herself a French guy, but he's got major commitment issues so she's trying to beat some sense into him. It's a funny dynamic in my head that I would love to write about someday. No more details on this, please xD I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

And for our special boy Finn, I have never seen someone more adorable. My plan was to keep him single throughout book 2 for a specific reason, but again, not ruining it in case I want to write this again.

I am starting on a new journey right now in my writing career (if you can call it that) and I would be working offline on another novel starting May 1st, which is less than a few hours away. I have a plot and the draft idea ready to go, but I won't publish it anywhere till I have a significant portion of the story written, so I might have updates in July/August. It'll follow the same timeline as Bittersweet, and should be completed by November if all goes well. Why am I telling you all this? Well because I am posting my progress and writing updates on my Instagram ID for people to see. I'm also doing it for the accountability of it all, plus I love making a pretty feed lol.
