___________Rebecca approaches you, her brow furrowed with worry. "Are you sure you're up for this? Your arm may be healed, but your ribs still concern me." She gestures towards your torso, where the bruises from the recent attack are still visible.
You glance at her, then nod reassuringly. "I'm feeling much better now. Don't worry about me." You pick up your cloak and swing it over your shoulder.
"Let's go."
You and the group leave the tunnel, each carrying only a few essential items packed hastily the night before. Last night we all agreed to leave this tunnel in case The Reapers find it. After all, if they come looking for you again, it's best they don't find you in the same place.
As you walk deeper into the forest, the silence becomes almost deafening. The only sound is the soft rustling of leaves underfoot and the distant call of a bird.
You gaze upwards, watching Haku soar through the sky, his wings beating effortlessly as he flies ahead to scout out the path.
You glance over your shoulder to see Steven and Max walking behind you, their eyes scanning the surroundings with a mix of caution. They're both armed and ready to fight if needed.
Behind them, Jess and Rebecca ride on the demon horse, their eyes fixed on the path ahead. The horse's ears prick up as it listens for any signs of danger.

"This is it." you say, your voice barely above a whisper as you gaze up at the imposing plantation before you. The sun has long since set, casting a deep blue twilight over the landscape. The sky above is now a canvas of stars, with the moon hanging low and full, casting an ethereal glow.
You turn around, your eyes locking onto Jess and Rebecca. "You two will stay here and keep watch while the rest of us head inside."
Jess and Rebecca glance at you worryingly but nod nonetheless.
Steven looks around, his eyes scanning the perimeter of the plantation. "How do we get inside?" he wonders.
You take a moment to survey the area, your eyes adjusting to the fading light. Max grunts softly beside you, drawing your attention to a small, almost imperceptible hatch in the ground.
"Here." you say, crouching down beside Max as he opens the hatch, revealing a dark and musty passageway.
You peer down into the abyss, the darkness seeming to swallow the faint moonlight. The air wafting up from the opening carries the scent of damp earth and decay, making your nose wrinkle in distaste.
'A sewer.'
Max carefully makes his way down the ladder first, his boots echoing off the walls of the narrow passageway. You and Steven follow closely behind. As you reach the bottom, you land on wet concrete floors, the smell of dampness filling your nostrils. A small water stream runs alongside you.
"This way." you whisper, taking the lead. You guide the others through the winding passageway, the sound of dripping water and creaking pipes filling the air. The darkness is almost palpable, but you press on, your eyes adjusting to the faint light.
