Chapter 20

Gwen's POV:

"What are you doing here?" I growled at Maxwell who was walking towards us.

"Morgan didn't tell you. What a shame." Smirking he started walking around us.

Maxwell lifted up Morgan's chin and looked at her.

"You would have made a beautiful bride." He shook his head and let go of her chin. Morgan had a few tears running down her face. I can't believe he did this to her.

"W-what do you mean by bride?"

"I don't know if i should tell you." Maxwell stroked his imaginary bear.

"You better tell me or I will make you wish that you did!" My words dripped with poison and hatred.

"Well let me explain. You know Morgan and I dated for a long time right?!" I nodded my head in agreement

"Good. It was right before you guys left for New York and i have noticed Morgan wasn't looking to happy lately so I was going to propose to brighten the mood. But no, right when I kneeled down she told me to stop and knowing me I stood up and tried to hold her hand. She slapped my hand away and then broke up with me. I asked what's wrong and if we could work things out but instead she said she was moving. Next thing i know you guys are gone and in New York."

"Hmm i wonder why she broke up with you." I said with sarcasm and rolled my eyes.

Maxwell growled at me and slap me acrossed the face. He then threw me against a wall and held my arms above my head. Then he leaned in close to my face but stopped.

"You don't get it! I loved her and when she left me for no reason I didn't know what to do. I wanted a family! So that's why I came here to show her what she was missing when she declined my proposal and left." He let go of my arms and turned towards Morgan.

I took the chance to pull out one of my knifes i had in one of my jean pockets. I ran behind him and lodged one of my knifes in his right shoulder blade. He screamed out in pain and reached behind his back to pull out the knife. When he pulled it out he slowly turned around and looked at me.

"You son of a bitc..." He stopped talking and feel to the floor in pain. While he was talking i kicked him in the place where the sun don't shine. He ended up passing.

"Morgan lets go before he wakes up."

I grabbed her arm and went towards the exit but she stayed there looking at him.

"Hold on." She ran to a corner and found some rope. She walked over to him and tide his hands and feet together, then we both left.

☆☆☆ at the house ☆☆☆

When Morgan and I got there we saw the guys just pull up the drive way. Leo was the first to jump out of the shell razor. Then Raph, Mikey,  and Donnie followed.

"Love what happened?" Leo questioned

"Where is he?" Raph growled

"Dudette are you okay?" Mikey asked

"Why are you shaking, What happened?" Donnie question

Morgan started crying and shaking more. The guys watched her with sorrow, angry, and worried looks on there faces. Leo ran to her and pulled her into a hug and tried to sooth her. Raph pulled me into a hug.

"Don't ever leave us again! What were you thinking?" He asked with a worried and angry tone in his voice.

"I just needed time alone, I'm fine and I promise it won't happen again." I gave him a half hearted smile. He chuckled a little.

"I'm glad your back my little kitten." Raph kissed my head and looked over at Morgan. She was now asleep in Leo's arms.

"Let's go home." Leo said not looking away from Morgan.

UHHHH i personally hate this chapter.  Sorry if it sucks but at least Morgan and Gwen is safe and there will be a lot more action and sad, angry, happy moment in this book for now on.
