(Yes. I went there. But notice that Gosalyn is older in this one shot. Up to 18 years. I kind of see something going on here from seeing that classic Dry Hard episode of Darkwing Duck from thirty years ago, which was Liquidator's origin episode where he started off as a water bottle salesman polluting the water of his competitors to keep his the only consumable one. You get it. They have the same style in this as they do in the Ducktales reboot though. Remember. Gosalyn is OLDER in this one shot. Anyways. Moving on...)
Nineteen year old duck girl named Gosalyn Mallard is getting ready to move out of her dad's house. She had just finished up high school six months ago and had just turned nineteen last month.
Her dad is a duck man named Drake Mallard. Her adoptive dad. Their friend Launchpad McQuack was living with them for a while, but he moved across the street with his new girlfriend named Lisa Cutler.
Living with Drake is his wife who comes from a more macabre-ish family. Like a family of ghouls. And that's just it. Her name is Morgana Macawber. Now Mallard. She is usually seen with black hair, a red dress, etc. She's treated Gosalyn as her own daughter. She adopted her as well by the time Gosalyn was eleven years old.
Gosalyn had already gotten her things packed and she'll be ready to move into her new place. She found an apartment in the middle of the city of St. Canard. She's facing her parents, Launchpad and Lisa right now as they're all about to say goodbye to her.
Drake says, "Gosalyn. I wish you a good luck, sweetie. Just be careful. You know how the real world is." Gosalyn says, "Yeah. I know, dad. I'll be fine. I'll call and message you guys. Facebook. Skype. You name it."
Morgana says, "I agree with your dad, honey. Plus, this city is full of villains. I would know. I was once one myself and let me tell you this... I never want to be one again. I met your father and things were better." She and Drake look at each other and they smile.
Launchpad says, "You should go to that new place opening up. That new restaurant." Gosalyn says, "You mean Dogwoods? I'm actually applying there. A part time job close by where I'm living and online college. Things should work out. And I've got a roommate who manages Duck Topic, so yeah." Morgana says, "You mean your friend Lucille Harris? I love that girl's lifestyle."
Lisa smirks and says, "Chat it up with some guys online, girl. You're nineteen. Good age." Launchpad stifles a laugh and says, "Come on, Lisa. Cut it out." She says, "Oh, I'm only fooling. But I'm just saying."
Gosalyn walks over to them and gives them all a hug. She moves away and Drake sighs and says, "Look at you. All grown up and moving out." Launchpad says, "How time flies, huh?" Morgana says, "Yeah. I know."
After saying goodbye to all of them, Gosalyn gets in her car and she looks out at them. She starts her car and faces the front. She takes off. Launchpad says, "Look at that. Little Gosalyn moving out. On her own." Drake sighs and says, "Yeah. It's gonna feel weird without her at home. It won't be the same." They all watch as Gosalyn leaves.
(Time skip.)
Later on, Gosalyn is at her new apartment in the middle of the city. With her is a gothic duck girl named Lucille Harris. They're both sitting on the couch in the living room. Lucille says, "About time we got our place, huh?" Gosalyn smiles and says, "Right?"
Lucille smirks and reaches into the pocket of her hoodie. She pulls out a bag with something in it and says, "Hey. We're here. Wanna smoke some weed while we have some free time?" Gosalyn smirks and says, "Hell yeah. Let's get it ready." Lucille says, "No problem."
Lucille gets the weed ready. She's got the papers and the weed and she puts it all together. She gets the joint made and says, "Alright. Let's smoke this." She gets her lighter out and she lights the joint. She takes the first hit and she hands it to Gosalyn. Gosalyn takes it and takes a hit as well. Lucille coughs. Gosalyn does a little bit, too. She hands it to Lucille.
