Father Megavolt x Daughter Reader pt. 2

The next day, Elmo or in this case Megavolt is out with the guys right now. The rest of the Fearsome Four. You're with him. The other three are Liquidator who is a dog man made entirely out of water, controls all liquids and speaks mostly in advertisement. Quackerjack is a clown duck in a blue and red harlequin suit and uses toys as weapons. Bushroot is a mutant plant duck who has the power to control all of plant life.

Megavolt says, "Guys. You'll never guess what." Quackerjack says, "What, Megavolt? You got your daughter a new handbag?" You giggle. Megavolt says, "No, Quacky... My wife's out of her coma. She's awake." They all look at him in surprise. Bushroot says, "You wife's awake?"

Megavolt smiles and says, "Yeah. She's doing physical therapy right now since she's been in a coma for so long, so she needs to get used to walking again. But (Y/N)'s excited to see her mom awake."

Liquidator says, "Ah yes. The daughter is happy to see her mother awake and has been waiting a lifetime guarantee for this moment." You say, "You have no idea, Liquidator. I finally get to see my mom's eyes and hear her voice."

Megavolt says, "Hey honey. Go see what's in the kitchen of this hideout. Get something to snack on." You say, "Okay, dad." You get up and Bushroot says, "Should I stay here and listen? I'm kind of hungry too." You hold back a smile as you look away. Megavolt says, "Yes actually. You do need to hear it. It's... between us four."

You walk out of the room. The other three face Megavolt. Quackerjack says, "Is there something you don't wanna let (Y/N) know?" Megavolt sighs and says, "I can't let (Y/N) know about this. What her mom was really like." Bushroot says, "I get a bad feeling about this."

He looks at the door and he looks at the guys. He quietly says, "Valerie and I seemed so perfect for one another. I'm a villain about to say this... but Valerie was a disturbed woman before she had (Y/N)." Liquidator says, "You don't say."

Megavolt sighs and says, "She hated Splatter Phoenix, especially. Valerie was always almost trying to attack her with whatever she had cooked up in her head. Even tried to murder Splats in her sleep a couple of times. She stabbed me too. I still have the scar on my right shoulder from the fork she stabbed me with."

The others are kind of shocked to hear this. Liquidator says, "Doctors recommend you take precaution and make sure (Y/N)'s alright around her." Megavolt says, "Come on guys. This is her mother. Valerie will never hurt her. She was so happy seeing her." Quackerjack says, "For now."

Bushroot says, "You still have the scars?" Megavolt pulls his collar down a bit and shows his right shoulder. There are four little holes there. Quackerjack says, "Holy crap, Megavolt. You sure she's changed after being in a coma? That was over sixteen years ago when she stabbed you and the fork wounds are still there." Megavolt says, "Yeah. She stabbed me pretty damn hard."

Bushroot says, "(Y/N) could be next. Valerie may seem nice to her for now... but she won't be for long." Megavolt sighs and says, "I'll check to see that things are alright." Liquidator says, "You do that."

You come back with snacks and you say, "What did you guys talk about?" Quackerjack says, "This chick Liquidator was with last night. Your dad didn't want you to have to listen to too much detail about it." You say, "Ah. Okay."

You sit down and you say, "Did you say you were hungry, Bushroot?" He says, "Yeah. What do you have?" You say, "Goldfish crackers." He says, "Ooh. Nice." You say, "Here." You share some with him and he eats it. You smile and you look away. Megavolt looks at Quackerjack and whispers, "Good save, Quacky." Quackerjack nods.

(Time skip.)

A week passes. Your mom is ready to come home now. Elmo is driving and she's sitting in the passenger's seat up front. She says, "It's so nice to finally see you guys again. It's been so long. And our baby. Our little girl. Such a joy to have." Elmo says, "She's been waiting to have you home her whole life, Valerie. She's excited about this." Valerie smiles and says, "I bet she is. I miss her, too."
