"Happy birthday Tara!" Aera's voice yells somewhere from behind me.

I turn around to see her holding a gift bag, like Hoseok was yesterday. I haven't even stepped foot into the school yet and she's already tracked me down. Can't say I'm surprised.

When she reaches me she slams into my body, engulfing me in her arms. I laugh at the sudden impact and embrace her too.

"Thank you Aera!"

"Here," She hands me the gift bag.

Then, as if a lightbulb has lit up in her mind, her face lights up in rememberance of something.

"Let's see your arrow!" She indicates to my left hand.

Lifting it up, I push down my jacket sleeve to reveal the famous arrow. She let's out a little gasp, inspecting it with her eyes and touching it with her finger.

"Now for the fun part: finding out who it points to."

Sighing, I lower my sleeve back down. "I already told you, I doubt it's anyone here."

"We won't know until we get inside, now will we?"

Valid point.

I groan. I know exactly what she's going to want to do today. I guess we can throw education out the window. Not that it was even inside the window in the first place.

As we walk towards the school, I take glances at my wrist to see if it does point at anyone. But it doesn't.

"See? I told you."

Aera groans. "We aren't even inside yet! Now shut up and keep watch."

Huffing, I do as I'm told and we both finally step inside the school doors. We sign in with our landyards and make our way towards the stairs leading to the sixth form common room, since we both have a free period first.

As soon as we step onto the landing we spot Yoongi talking with one of his friends. Immediately, Aera grabs my left wrist and inspects the arrow.

"Aera, it's not Yoongi!" I sigh, ripping my wrist away from her grasp.

"Just making sure." She quietly responds.

Yoongi then sees us, says an excuse to his friend to leave, and walks over with a little smile on his mouth.

"Happy birthday, Tara."

"Thanks Yoongi!"

"Hold on," He takes his rucksack off of his back and opens it, taking out a little retangled box wrapped in wrapping paper out of his bag.

"I attempted to wrap it by myself." He chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck and handing it to me.

Aera inspects it with her eyes and shrugs. "Not bad."

"Thanks," Yoongi nods, glancing at Aera and then quickly back at the present. "Namjoon has a lesson now, if I'm remembering correctly. We can speak to him at break."

"I would ask where Seokjin is, but I think I already have an idea what he's up to," Aera then says, stating what's on all of our minds.

Nodding in agreement, I defintely have an idea too. He's most likely investigating every girl he lays eyes on and seeing who his arrow will point to. So basically the exact same thing I'm doing.

"Yeah, so do I," Yoongi chuckles. "So, do you have any idea who your arrow's pointing to?"

I shake my head, glancing down at my wrist. "Nope. So far it's pointing to nothing, sometimes occasionally moving direction."

"Sounds like your soulmate's on the move," Aera suggests as the three of us walk towards the common room.

Sighing, I shake my head and continue to walk. I peer at my arrow, and this time it's moving quite a lot.

"Hey, look," I catch the attention of Yoongi and Aera. They both stop and also look down at my wrist.

Furrowing her eyebrows, Aera looks up and to the people behind me. And when she does, her face drops. She nudges Yoongi with her elbow and Yoongi looks at where she's looking. And he has the same reaction as her.

"Oh no." Aera groans, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Yoongi tries to hold back a laugh, whilst looking down at the ground and raising a closed hand to his mouth.

"What is it?" I turn around to see where they're looking, and there's no-one who we really speak to behind us.

"Nothing," Aera immediately answers, guiding me towards the common room door.

The three of us walk in. There's a few sixth formers already sat inside. Some are just chilling and taking to each other, some working and some on their phones.

Aera instantly pulls Yoongi over to the side, to talk with him 'privately'. Kinda suspicious if you ask me.

Pouting a little, I'm about to sit down when I glance at my wrist once more. And the arrow's moving again, like it was when we were outside the common room.

Since Aera and Yoongi are deep in discussion, I may aswell try to find whoever it's leading me to. Even though they may not even come here, but it's worth a shot.

Whilst being guided by the arrow I walk out of the common room, down the hallway and into the open area also for sixth formers with computers scattered around.

Where the hell is this thing taking me?

Loosing my patience I continue to walk forwards, trying to see who it's taking me to. As I'm doing so, I collide with someone walking the opposite way to me. I look up and immediately groan.

"Do you not know how to walk in a straight line?" Jin scolds. "Turning 18 really did nothing good for you, did it?"

"And it did what, made you some genius overnight?" I fire back, rolling my eyes and shoving his shoulder. "Now move out the way."

He scoffs, and I'm assuming is watching me walk away from him.

"Do you really believe your soulmate is in this school?" Jin laughs in amusement from behind.

"You're wasting your time Tara!" He sings in an irritating tone.

"Shut up Jin," I yell back, continuing to look down at my wrist and walk away.

However, as I look at my arrow, I notice it isn't facing straight anymore. It's facing behind me.

Huh. That's odd.

Confusingly tilting my head, I turn back around to face the direction where I just came from. The arrow continues to face forwards.

That's weird.

Because all I see is Jin.

I move my body to the right, and the arrow refuses to move away from where it's settled. I try moving to the left this time, and it does the same thing. Why the hell is it-

Hold on.

My head slowly raises to face the man on his phone. Clenching my teeth slightly, it doesn't take me long to realise what's happened.

Jin looks up and notices me staring wide eyed at him. He furrows his eyebrows, giving me a confused look.

When he notices I keep glancing at my wrist and back up at him again, he catches on. He looks at his own left wrist, and slowly looks back up at me.

And when he also realises what this means, his face drops too.

Aera and Yoongi then burst out of the common room, and run towards where the two of us are. When they see that we're both here, they freeze and become slightly panicked.

Slowly walking over to me, Aera grimaces slightly when she knows that I know. Awkwardly chuckling, she turns around to glance at Jin.

"Well, this should be interesting."
