Naina's POV

Oh my holy mother of teasers!! We will go out oh my god...shit shit shit what will I wear? Wait if we directly go to whatever place after the office and I don't get a chance of Changing? I'm hyperventilating. Crap! What the hell do I do?

I took a deep breath and started my work sitting in my cabin and collected all the papers ready to be presented to Ridhhant. I decided after giving the papers I'll directly join my office friends about whom I usually tend to forget.

Oops! I'm a terrible friend.

I walk upto Ridhhant's room and was about to knock when I heard a girl's voice, "Mister Ridhhant! I missed you so much..and I see you didn't miss me." She said and something twisted in me. I put that thought aside and knocked.

"Come in" Ridhhant's annoyed voice came.

"Sir all the papers you asked for." I said and hand it to Ridhhant and I glanced at the lady who was probably twenty years old or something.

Pretty young for Ridh.

"Hi. Who are you?" She asked me and her voice said she didn't appreciate my presence much.

"Hi I'm Naina Raj, Sir's personal assistant." I said with a polite smile.

"Wow you aren't wearing revealing clothes..have you two fucked?" What in the...

I now wore a frown and glanced at Ridh and he was scowling so deep and then he stood up. "Bhumika will you shut up!? She isn't like those others. Mom have hired her and she is my..Friend." oh Bhumika..who she might be?

"Oh Friend? Probably friend of your money Bhai." She said rolling her eyes.

Bhai?

"Yes Bhai. Why are you whisper yelling?" She asked me

Did I say that loud? Oops!

"Uh eh sorry was shocked. And sorry ma'am I am not friend of Ridh- Sir's money. If you take away his money I'll still support him and I didn't wear revealing clothes for I know what my job is about." I said with a pretty stern voice.

Her frown vanished and she turned to Ridh, "Wow she is good. I like her now." What the...

"Did we ask you?" Ridhhant said with a bored look. And I let out a small laugh and they both turned at me.

"So-sorry" I said and turned to leave. "Wait Nain-Miss Naina!" Ridh said. I turned around, "Hmm? I mean yes Sir?"

"Let me introduce her properly, meet Bhumika Raj my annoying sister who went to study at London and have returned now, unfortunately as you see and till her apartment is ready..can she live with us?" He said.

And when he returns to his casual mode from the business one I don't realise. His demeanor is always the casual one, one can't decipher.

"Why are you asking me? It's your house. And I'd be glad if she did." I said with a smile and still wondering why is he asking me.

"Oh ye-yeah" he said.

"Someone is whipped I see." Says Bhumika with a teasing lip tight smile. I feel my cheeks getting hot and glance Ridh noticing his tip of ears are also a shade of crimson.

"I should leave, Sir...and Ma'am." I said and went outside and took a deep breath and walked to my cabin and remembered I had to meet my office Friends.

Ridhhant's POV

Bhumika is back. My bitchy  sister is back.

I groaned thinking of her annoying screeches and now she got Naina to tease me with. But the earlier things she said about Naina made me so angry but I had to control. What will Naina think? What kind of brother I am?

I know I'm horrible but she shall not know it.

I exited my office and went to her cabin. I knocked and heard a faint 'come in'.

She was packing her bags and her hair strands were falling on her forehead. I smiled and entered her cabin. It too had that homely feeling she carried with her.

"Hi." I said and she turned around and said an 'ohh' releasing her breath after doing a lot of hardwork of packing her things. "We were going..out eh remember?" I said and she stopped for a moment and as if realisation hit her.

"Oh my god! How did I forget that?! But Ridh I haven't thought of a dress!" She yelled looking horrified.

I laughed and said, "Ridh Haan?" While raising my eyebrows.

She turned red and was looking so adorable I just wanted to have my lips on those tints, "You don't like me calling you nicknames?" She asked with a cute pout.

I shook my head and shoved my hands in my pocket. "I love it but I can't think of a nickname for you."

She put her finger on her chin acting to think and said, "It's not necessary you shorten my name..say anything which you think is like me." She said giving me toothy child like smile.

I thought of what she is like to me

Light of my darkness
Sunshine of my Rains
Ray of Hopes
Star of my sky
Bonfire of my summer night
..fireflies.

"Firefly"

"Firefly? I seem like firefly to you?"

"Yes."

"Oh do I glow? In a cold summer night? Like those poets say?" She said with a chuckle.

"Kind of." I said looking at her intensely and here demeanor changed to a serious one.

I cleared my voice and she gave me a nervous smile making me chuckle.

"Give your things to me, I'll tell the driver to take it back to our Apartment where Bhumika is waiting..we'll go somewhere nice." I said.

"Your apartment." She said, most probably corrected. Crap!
"Oh umm ye-yeah." The fuck are you stammering asshole.

She took her bag and we walked into the elevator together, I called a driver of mine and asked him to send the bag. Then we both moved to my car as I opened the door for her and she slid in. I went to my seat and the engine roared to life.

"Ridh stop the car," Naina said and I looked at her for a fragment of second and stopped the car.

She was trying to open the car door and was in such a hurry that couldn't even do it. "Where are you going and wait don't break my car." I said leaned to her side and felt her breath hitched, I smirked by the feeling and opened the car.

She scurried out into the bushes and bent down, I looked carefully and it was a puppy. I quickly made my way out too and stood behind her.

She picked up the puppy who seemed to be a light brown and white corgi and he looked of a good family. What the fuck was it doing on the roadside?!

She was giggling while playing with the puppy.."It's a He! Aww it's a boy..so cute! But what is he doing here? He seems costly isn't it? I mean it's a good breed."

"Yes it does, who the fuck left it here?" I hissed. "What do you wanna name it though?" I asked with a lopsided grin.

She tapped her chin with her delicate fingers and said, "Olly?"

Olly, wow. That's cute.

"Good name it is." "Can't we take it?" She asked with a pout.

"We can take him home." I said but I still doubt whom this beautiful breed belongs to.

"Thank you!" She squealed like a kid and hugged Olly tight and I let out a small laugh.

"What about our da-outing?" She asked and that 'Da-' didn't go unnoticed.

"Some other day, let's take him home what say?" I asked and she nodded with a shy smile. I wonder what made her shy so suddenly.
