17| Falling for him?

Ridhhant's POV

I wake up to see it's still a bit dark. I turned by head around to see a beauty laying before me with her hair like a nest but still looking cute, her light snores were filling the air in the room. I moved forward and put some hair behind her ear.

I moved closer and kissed her nose softly and fell sleep again.

Naina's POV

It felt so good to sleep with Ridh. I woke up to see him sleep with a gentle expression, I stared at him until he started moving. I closed my eyes trying to sleep.

I felt him staring me, then he put some hair of mine behind my ear and I was trying my best to hide the smile then he moved closer and kissed my nose gently.

It felt so warm to have his lips on my skin. I stirred and tried to hide my blushing face behind my hair then we both dozed off again.

I groaned and shut the alarm off, it felt like I've had woken up five minutes before but now it was 7 in the morning. I saw Ridh lazily spread on his stomach with his one hand on my shoulder.

I moved away to get up and he murmured something while I stifled my chuckle.

"Ridh?" I said shaking him a bit. "Bhaiya!" I shouted in his ears, "The fuck!" He yelled and jolted up and in this action our heads hit together.

"Ohouch!" I hissed while rubbing my head and he was still trying to open his eyes. "Sorry..why would you shout so loud?" He asked sounding irritated.

I moved away rolling my eyes and said, "You wouldn't wake up." with a shrug while all he did was roll his eyes and got up.

"I'm going to my room so now go freshen up." I said and headed to my room.

After cracking jokes, his innuendos more probably and some teasings, he dropped me in the way while drove away in his car.

I reached our office and went to make his morning drinks. I headed to his office and knocked and heard a faint 'come in' and moved in.

"Sir your coffee." I said and went back to my cabin.

After I submitted the last documents and making his schedule for the next day, Ridh dismissed me but refused to come. I was confused why is he coming late if the work is already done.

It was 11 and Ridh still wasn't home, I had made dinner and tried calling him but it was unreachable. I was being restless when the door opened and a tired Ridh came in and I ran to him with a glass of water.

"Why-How-What happened?" I said struggling to think of a proper question. He sat on the couch and rested his head on the the back of couch.

"Atharva took out his anger on me."

"What?!"

"Uhm Bhabhi got injured a bit and he was furious on the workers so he took a day off and told me to do some work and with all the workload, the work got a bit late. This happens pretty often." He said. Shouldn't I know that?

What do I work there for? I should have known it!

"I never let it reach, I got his call in the lunch, it was an emergency so I went without informing anyone." But still. Why didn't I see him when he left his office? What the hell.

He sighed and got up, "Dinner?"

"Ye-yeah come we'll eat now." I said.

"We? You haven't ate?" He asked with concern which may insides bloom.

"No, I was waiting for you." I said fidgeting with my fingers.

He smiled and walked up to me and kissed my temple. "Thank you, you're one of the best things happened to me." He said retreating back.

Taking up my courage I stood on my toes and kissed his cheeks, "You too are one of the best things happened to me." I said moving back and scurrying over to the kitchen counter.

He chuckled, "You're so adorable." He said loudly from behind.

We ate together and moved to the terrace with a hot brewed coffee cups. We talked of poems and books and all the other things going on in entertainment industries.

"So where will you sleep now?" He asked moving his index finger on the rim of his cup in circles. I wanted him to sleep in my room today so I wore a small smirk and teased, "Mine, why?"

"Oh. Uhmm just curious." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "I wanted to sleep with you." He said and I wore this stupid grin now.

"Okay! Let's go!" I said. "Wait, I've got some emails to check, I'll bring my laptop." He said and I took his cup and went to the kitchen.

I head up to my room to find Ridh sitting on my bed with his back rested along the headset doing work on his laptop. I climb upto him and sit beside him.

After a moment he shut his laptop and put it on the nightstand and begins to massage his temples. "May I help?" I asked and he smiled, "Why not?"

He moved forward so I could sit beside him and starting massaging his temples as he groaned in satisfaction.

Hot. The inner girl in me fanned her so I cleared my throat and shook my head.

"Uh uhmm you prepare to sleep. I need to do my night routine." I said getting up until he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back as I turned around and landed on his lap while he was wearing a smirk.

"Or the sexual tension is getting too much hmm?" He asked placing his one hand on my waist while I reluctantly placed one of my hands on his shoulder.

Bastard!

"We-we should sleep." I said getting off and running inside the bathroom. I gave a glance to Ridh and I literally cursed myself, he had a lopsided grin on his face.

I signed and went before the mirror.

Okay so what was it? First I like him okay cool and I know one thing it isn't a stupid crush and then now I imagine living without his taunts and teases..that's impossible.

How he had come to the hospital for Papa, how imperfect he was yet I liked being with him, scratch that..I loved being with him. How talking just for fifteen minutes with him after a tiring day I'd feel happy with him.

I feel happy and comfortable with his mere presence, his tiredness worries me, his real smile makes me happy.

Is it too dangerous of me to realise I like this man a lot more than I expected, that I'm slowly…falling for him?
