Hayes P.O.V
Shayla is out of the hospital now. She is doing great. We keep asking her if she wants to do the meet and greet and the show still. Each time she says yes. I think everone including myself is scared to let her do it because what happened last time.
The show starts in less than 30 minutes and everyone keeps bugging Shayla about if she really wants to go through with doing the show or not. Of course, she said yes again. But everytime she repeats herself, you can hear in her voice that she is getting more and more irritated and annoyed that we keep asking her the same question over and over again.
Since the show is about to start, we're all sitting behind the stage getting ready and messing with the fans. We keep shoving our hand out to where they can see it and they scream super loud. Its super fun and funny.
Everyone is jumping and messing around because they are so hype to go on stage. Well not everyone I suppose. Let me reword it, everyone besides Shayla. Shayla is sitting in the back by herself trying to prepare herself for whats about to happen.
'Should I go and try to comfort her? Or leave her be? ' I asked myself. My head told me no, but my heart told me yes.
I walked behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned and looked at me nearly in tears. " Whats wrong babe?! " I asked concerned. " Im scared. " She replies. " Of ? " " What do you think? What if I mess up Hayes? What if they end up not likeing my performance? Im afraid they wont love me like I love then" she said getting red in the face, trying not to cry.
I pulled her close to me and just held her for a minute. I kissed her forehead. She was so warm. " Listen" I say and she looks me in the eyes. " If they end up not liking your performance, they don't know the true definition of talent. But thats not going to happen, they are going to love you. Just like I do, I promise. "
"Shayla, your up! " Our manager told us.
" Go get um' tiger " I said as I winked .
'There is no doubt, that she is going to kill the show. She's got this' I thought to myself.
