Chapter 4

Nash's P.O.V

Matt had just put Shayla to bed so, me , Taylor , Carter , and Cameron all sat in the living room watching t.v and were on our phones . All of a sudden i heard screaming . " Am i going insane and hearing things or did you guys hear someone screaming too? " i questioned the boys . " WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? I HEARD IT TOO ! " Cameron yells over dramatic ly. We heard the scream again so we ran upstairs. The horrific scream was coming from Shaylas room. I busted through her bedroom door to see what was wrong. Shayla was still asleep so i picked her up and started holding her so she would feel protected. " She must be having a bad dream. Should i wake her? " i asked scared. " Well duhh! " Carter said with a little sarcasm in his voice. I started shaking her but she still wasnt waking. She became screaming louder. Matt bursts into the room. " What the hell is going on? Why is she screaming like that?! " Matt asks super concerned. " Shes having a bad dream! She isnt waking, somebody call the doctor! " i yelled still holding her as tight as possible.

-- Doctor Arrives --

*Still Nash's P.O.V*

I hear a knock on the door. " The doctor is here, someone go answer the door. " Matt sprints down the stairs as fast as he can...

Matthew's P.O.V

Shayla is having a horrible nightmare, screaming at the top of her lungs, Nash is trying his best to wake her, but, nothing is working! I have no choice but too freak out! " The doctor is here, someone go answer the door. " Nash says as calm as possible. I sprint down the stairs as fast as i can. I open the door. " Hello Im--- " " THERE ARE NO TIME FOR INTRODUCTION, WE CAN INTRODUCE OUR SELVES LATER! THEY ARE UPSTAIRS FIRST ROOM TO YOU LEFT! " I say cutting her off then running up the stairs with Dr. Whatever her name is right behind me. I kinda felt bad for yelling at her the way i did, but at the same time i didnt. Remind me to apologize to her later?

Doctors P.O.V

I arrive at their house. A guy answers the door. " Hello im--" He cuts me off in a very rude manner then starts running up the stairs to the little girls room. I push past everyone that is in the room and start checking the little girl out. " She is stuck in her nightmare and is having trouble awakening. The only way to awaken her is if she feels safe." I say as i check her pulse. " If i may ask , which one of you is her father? " i ask trying to keep a calm tone. " That would be me " the boy that answer the door raised his hand. " Ahh , yes. I figured . But , um, can you come take this young mans place and hold her the way that he is? She might feel safer in her fathers arms." I say backing away. The young man comes and swaps places with the other young man . I take her pulse again and it begins to slow down. Her eyes start to flutter open. " Omg, thank you so much Dr... Sorry I didnt catch your na-- " the father was saying as i cut him off. " Dodd, my name is Dr.Dodd." i said shaking his hand. " And i am Matthew. Sorry, for coming at you the way that i did earlier, i was just scared." He responded. " I completely understand. Now if you need anything else, just call " i say as someone begins to show me too the door.

Matthew's P.O.V

The doctor was leaving and Shayla has finally awoken. I began to calm down as i heard Taylor ask Shayla if she was okay. " IT WAS HORRIBLE! " Shayla responds begining to cry. I hold her tighter. " What was? " Taylor asks " I was dreaming they were coming to take me and beat me again. " She says with tears streaming down het face. " Who was coming to take you? " Cameron asks scared he had asked to much. "M-My aunt and u-uncle " she responds stuttering as she faces her head towards the ground. " We would NEVER let them take you away from us, EVER! " I say wiping the tears fron her eyes. " Promise? " She asks still scared. " Promise. " We all say in unison. " Now you should probably get some more sleep, i have some big things planned for you in the morning" i say pushing everyone out of the door. " Dad? " Shayla says. " Yes , cupcake? " " Can i sleep with you for the rest of the night? Im scared... " she says trailing off mid sentence. " I have a even better idea! How about we ALL sleep downstairs and fall asleep to movies?! Sound good? " i say " Sounds great ! " everyone says grabbing pillows and blankets and bring them downstairs.

-- The Next Morning --

Shawn's P.O.V

I was awake before anybody at my house so i decided to drive over to Matts house and see what everybody was doing. I opened the door to his house as quietly as i could just in case Shayla was still sleeping. When i walked in EVERYBODY was still asleep, so i decided i would cook breakfast for everyone since it was Shayla's first day being at her new house. Out of everybody, Shayla was the first person awake. " Goodmorning beautiful! How did you sleep? " " I dont want to talk about it" she said. " Was it that bad? " i asked confused. " If you consider having a horrible bad dream about your aunt and uncle coming to take you away just to beat you, screaming in your sleep, not being able to wake up from your dream , only way for me to awake is for me to be in dads arms , and awakening to all the boys plus a doctor in your room bad. Then yes its was that bad. " She said walking over to the kitchen to take a seat and giggleing. " Wow, seems like you had a long night. " i said with a little chuckle. " Very" she responded. " So , whatcha cooking ? "  She asked. " Some blueberry pancakes , bacon , eggs , and biscuits " i say " Yumm ! My favorite! " she practically yelled while licking her lips. All i could do was laugh. By this time , it was almost 10:00a.m and everyone was just begining to wake up and start heading to the table to eat. " So, what are we doing today guys? " Shayla asked. " Good question! " Nash said nudging me then looking at everyone around the table. " I was thinking we could to the mall then go get something to eat afterwards then head back here and wat ch some movies" Carter said. " YAAAY ! " Shayla and Cameron both said at the same time. " Cameron you are so childish " I said and we all laughed.

--After Breakfast--

Shayla's P.O.V

" Wow , im stuffed! Breakfast was delicious! Thanks Shawn ! " i said patting my tummy. " Anytime Cupcake! " Shawn says winking at me. I run upstairs to go brush my teeth, comb my hair, and get dressed for todays adventure. I decided on wearing white shorts, a black shirt that said Aèropostal on it in white print with some white converse. I ran downstairs to see everybody waiting on me. " Lets roll " Nash said trying to sound cool. We all piled in the van and headed to the mall. When we arrived we all jumped out and Cameron yelled " MALL 'HO ! " pointing at the mall then running. We all raced to the front doors and Cameron won of course. " That was no fair! You got a head start! " i said giggleing " Is that the whinning of a soar loser i hear?!" Cam says putting his hand up to his ear. I couldnt help but to laugh. We entered the mall and went into every store possible. When we were leaving we had about 20 bags all together. " Gosh , you guys shop like your girls! " i said giggleing. " RACE YOU TO THE CAR! " i yelled running. " HAHA, I WON! " i said dancing like a completely maniac. " Thats no fair! You caught us off guard! " Cam said whinning. " Is that the whinning of a soar loser i hear?! " mocking him.

--After The Mall--

Camerons P.O.V

After the mall i drove to go get us something to eat. " What are you guys hungary for? " i asked " TACO BELL!! " Everyone yelled in unison. " I should have known. You guys pretty much feed of only taco bell ! " we all laughed. After we ate, we headed back home to relax and watch some movies. " I WANNA WATCH FROZEN ! " Shayla yelled . " ME TOO! " Nash, Carter, Taylor, Matthew, and Shawn yelled. I laughed and inserted the movie. " ELSA? DO YOU WANNA BULID A SNOWMAN? COME ON LETS GO AND PLAAAY! I NEVER SEE YOU ANYMORE , COME OUT THE DOOR , ITS LIKE YOU'VE GONE AWAAAYY! WE USED TO BE BEST BUDDIES, AND NOW WERE NOT. I WISH YOU WOULD TELL ME WHHHYY ! DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN? IT DOESNT HVE TO BE A SNOWMAN! go away anna! OKAAY BYEEE!  The guys were singing word for word into my ear. Finally the movie was almost over and the house was completely silent. I look over and everybody is fast asleep on the couch and floor. So, i covered everybody up , turned off the lights and movie, and fell fast asleep myself...

Okay , so sorry for not updating Saturday. I have been super sick. But ! Too make up for it i am going to be updating today, and tomorrow! And also , if you guys want to be in the story, inbox me or comment your names and what guy you want to be with and i will fit you in! Also , one more thing! I will be fitting Hayes and Skylynn into the story in a few chapter and Shayla will be older
