We were standing in a huge crowd of people. Suddenly, the announcer waved at us, causing several screams to erupt.
"Welcome to Comic Con!!!" He greeted. More screaming. "I'd like to welcome some very special cast members from the hit TV show, AMC's The Walking Dead! Including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, and several others!" The host announced, causing a huge wave of feminine screams at the mention of Norman Reedus. I personally screamed loudest when Andrew Lincoln's name was called. My friends and I looked at each other, squeals erupting as the cast made their way onto stage.
...
We stood in line for autographs. Nothing really special happened during the speeches. A lot of laughs. We were almost to the front of the line, about to meet Andrew Lincoln!! I could barely contain my excitement.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, We were right up front. I decided to be the last one. After Mariah, Jessica, and Ashely got their Andrew Lincoln autographs, it was my turn.
He looked up at me and smiled friendly.
"Hey. How are you?" He asked in an English accent.
"Hi! I'm great! Can I just say, you look so strange clean and not blood smeared." I stated. Andrew laughed a bit.
"Yeah. I've been getting that a lot tonight." He said, taking my little pink notebook. The notebook wasn't really anything special, just a little notebook that I planned on keeping in my office. "So what's your name?" He asked.
"Amanda Geene." I exclaimed excitedly.
"Well, Amanda, I hope you have a great night." Once he signed it, he shook my hand. I thanked him and looked at the signature. I felt my hear beat quicken. I looked up from the notebook at Steven Yeun. He smiled at me.
"Hey. What's up?" He asked.
"Nothing. Now, I know you've probably been hearing this all night, but you-"
"I know, we look like we're civilized." He laughed. I laughed too, although maybe a little to much. After he and several others signed my notebook, I ended up in front of Norman Reedus. I inwardly groaned. But I may as well get the whole casts signature. I handed him my notebook.
"How're you?" He asked, looking up at me expectantly.
"Fine." I stated, crossing my arms.
He looked up at me curiously. "Huh." He grunted.
"'Huh' what?" I demanded.
He shrugged. "Usually all of the girls who come to these things are actually pretty excited to see me." Wow. What an ego.
"Well, I'm not 'the usual' girl." I stated.
"Ok. Hope you have fun anyway." He said, smiling. "What's your name?" He asked.
"Um, why do you need to know?" I demanded.
"So I can write it down." He simply said.
"Oh. I'm Amanda." I said, feeling stupid. Of course he needs to know!
"Alright, Amanda. Here ya go." He said handing me my notebook and extending his right hand. I reluctantly shook it and walked away. I was so tempted to look at my notebook, yet I wanted to get to the hotel before I did anything.
...
Back in the hotel room, all four of us were chattering like excited middle schoolers.
"Oh my god I can't believe that I got Norman Reedus' signature!!" Ashely squealed.
