Amanda:
Around six, I was finally finishing my make up. I was wearing the lilac dress that I wore to the Walking Dead cast party. As I traced my eye lids with mascara, I saw Norman enter the bathroom through the mirror. He was dressed in a nice, black tuxedo. He had his hair slicked back. I smiled at him.
"You're absolutely gorgeous." He murmured, walking up behind me. "Close your eyes." He ordered, holding his hands behind his back.
"Why?" I asked, still doing my mascara.
"Cause." Was all he said. Rolling my eyes, I close them. I hear the jingling of metal, and something cold is placed around my neck. A heavy oval rests just below my collar bone. "Alright, open."
I open my eye, and almost lose all the hard work that I've put on my eyes. Sitting on my neck was a silver chain. The oval is an amethyst gem stone surrounded in glittering silver.
"Norm, you didn't have to get me this." I said, smiling hugely at it.
"I know. I just wanted to." He murmured, wrapping his arms around my stomach. I smiled and turned around. Leaning up, I gave him a peck on the lips.
"I love you." I murmured, leaving my arms wrapped around his neck.
"I love you too." Norman stated, leaning down again. Suddenly, my phone buzzed on the counter. Pulling away from Norman, I picked it up. It was from Jennifer.
Jen: Hey hon. Just about ready. You?
Me: Yeah. Is dad coming?
Jen: No. Where does Norman want to go?
I turned to Norman. "Hey, where are we going?" I asked.
Norman shrugged. "Where ever you wanna."
"Norm, none of us have been here. You pick." I declared. "Or we can spend the next two hours searching google."
"Alright. Gimme your phone." He ordered. Handing him my phone, I watched him text. After a few taps of his thumb, he handed me the phone.
Me: How about Olive Garden?
Jen: Sure! Can't wait to see you and your fiancé! <3
I put the phone back in my purse, then turned to Norman. "Ready?" I asked.
"Whenever you are." He declared, smiling down at me.
...
At Olive Garden, we were sitting at a table in the corner of the small bar. No one was in the bar, luckily. We were just waiting for Jennifer. Norman's arm was draped over my shoulders as he browsed the menu.
"Hey, Norm. Should we tell her?" I asked, looking up at him.
"Tell her what?" He asked, gazing down at me.
"That we're trying for a baby." I whispered.
"If you want to." He murmured, pecking me on the forehead.
"I don't know. I mean, they never found out about you until the other day." I pointed out.
"True. Babe, if you don't want to, then we don't have to." He stated, placing his free hand on my stomach. I smiled at him. Just then, I heard the tapping of feet coming this way. Glancing up, I saw Jennifer and the waitress.
"Hi!" Jennifer exclaimed, sitting down across from us. "How are you tonight?"
"We're fine." I answered, smiling at her.
"Great! So, Norman, mind if I ask you a question?" Jen asked.
"Sure." Norman shrugged, keeping his arm around me.
