Sunday is a whole different day for me alright.
Immediately when I wake up, I don't change, just wear a hoodie over my clothes.
A pastel yellow hoodie.
As you can tell, yellow is my favorite color.
I walked downstairs, seeing Aunt Puffy and Clay sitting down. Upon seeing me they smiled.
We don't usually eat pancakes here, it feels too much like we're eating cake in the morning. Bacon is too greasy but good at times. Eggs are boring.
So basically we just eat cereal and chat. I like cereal because the milk feels cold and good.
"Gonna read your comic again?" Clay asks as I pull out my phone.
There are people who read newspapers at breakfast or a book. I read Lore Olympus, a webcomic, so yeah technically I read it on my phone.
It updates every Sunday, and always look forward to it.
Yep, this is my morning routine here, every Sunday.
Wake up, go downstairs, eat breakfast, read Lore Olympus, try and convince Dream to read it, tell Puffy what happened in the latest chapter, because she's actually interested in the story.
"What happened in today's episode?" She asks while washing the dishes.
I was sitting on my chair while Clay was on the couch, scrolling through Twitter, maybe.
(skip if you read Lore Olympus and want to avoid spoilers for ep 155, or just not interested)
"We're still back where Persephone, Hades, and Hecate were. Persephone learns where her mom is, and Hecate tells her to get therapy because of what happened." I start explaining.
"Where she turned Minthe into a plant?"
"Yep, then, they get a phone call for Persie, supposedly Hera, and we switch to Hera getting a new vision, some sort of memory from the past, where she's preparing to do something but Hades begs her not to. Saying something like: 'if Zeus does love you, he wouldn't make you do such a thing'. Then Kronos finds her and tells her 'why don't you sit on my lap and tell me how much you love me?'"
"Oooooooh, Hera and Persie are similar then?"
"Yeah, there could be a chance Hera seduced Kronos."
"I think so."
"Yeah, there was even a part where she was showing a bit of her chest by fixing her robe a bit.
So then she starts waking up for the dream and screams, waking Zeus up. He runs to her and tries comforting her." I continue.
"Well, at least he's being nice for once." Puffy sighs, rolling her eyes.
"I know right." I sigh.
"Her scars glow from the dream, and she starts bleeding. Maybe suggesting that Kronos is awakening." I finish.
"Ooh, so that's what Hera wanted to tell Persephone? About her dream and how she was bleeding?"
"Yep!"
"Woah."
(ok it's over)
I nodded and left my aunt alone, then walked to Dream.
"Hey, Clayyyyyyyyyy."
"Moni..."
"Yaaaaaaaaa...?"
"I'm not going to read Lore Olympus."
"WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY."
"It's Greek Mythology! It's boring!"
"No, it's not! It's in a modern setting and there's drama, especially love drama, the story is so interesting, with great characters and arcs..."
"It seems okay from what you're saying..."
"Oh! Did I forget to mention that there is a character who manipulates her daughter?"
"DID YOU SAY MANIPULATION? GIMME GIMME GIMME!"
I smirk. I knew that'd get his attention.
"Like Dream SMP, but less dramatic but still amazing no less. Dream SMP but it's Greek."
I passed him my phone and put episode 147, the episode I talked about. I then sat down on the couch beside him.
After reading it, Clay was confused.
"I don't get it, what's with Persephone, why did Apollo make her miserable?" He asks.
"Why don't you read more to understand?..." I suggest.
That seemed to convince him enough, and soon he was reading the webcomic the entire day. From the start, chapter 1, to chapter 155.
(just a filler and light-hearted chapter before we get onto the angst because once we get in, there's no going back. Nothing but angst from here till the end of the book.)
