Ok, so as of right now, I'm running a weeks worth of chores that my mom usually does because, yes. You guessed it. My mom found the love bites and hickies Mitsuki left on me.
She grounded me after consulting me about it and now I'm stuck doing this.
I don't understand why she's so mad. I know all about that stuff and how stay safe. She gets really pale and scared when I'm honest with her about what we did.
I don't get it.
I wasn't completely honest with her though. I told her that we used protection when we did it, but...I don't even remember if we did or not.
I groaned in frustration as the bag resting in my shoulder started to make my muscles ache.
I have no clue what's in here, but mom wanted me to pick it up, and having no other choice because of her punishment, I did.
The other 4 bags that were in my hands were full of groceries.
It's been a 2 weeks since I last saw Mitsuki thanks to my mother's grounding.
I really miss him.
Finally, I sighed in relief as I arrived to my house's front gate.
I walked backwards to open it and turned around to make my way to the front steps.
I slowly walked up them, seeing as how most of my energy was gone because of carrying these heavy bags around town.
Usually I don't get tired this easily. Must be because of how long I've been stuck inside.
This is actually my first time being outside since my mom decided to ground me.
I put the bags down and struggled to reach the handle with how weak my arms are.
But thank the gods—my mom opened the door for me and took the bags. I thanked her; walking inside and closing the door behind me before falling to the ground beneath me with a heavy sigh.
"Thank goddddd!"
"Thank you for getting these for me Boruto. Now head up to your room please."
"Hai." (はい)
I got up and slowly made my way to the stairs that led up to my room.
As I got to my room, the first thing I did after closing my door was collapsing on my bed.
Somehow, it still had Mitsuki's scent which brought me some comfort and eased the pain a little.
I don't know how long after, but I soon fell asleep; taking a peaceful nap.
I awoke to a sudden feeling of nausea. Like the kind you get when you didn't eat dinner last night and you wake up feeling hungry as hell.
I do that to myself a bit too much since these depressing thoughts have been invading my headspace.
It's not my fault—I just forget sometimes.
I sat up as the feeling got worse. I staggered out my room and headed to the kitchen.
Once my mom saw me, she asked why I was down here instead of being in my room.
I simply replied with, "I was hungry so I came down here to get a snack."
"Oh, ok. You look a bit pale though. Are you sick," she asked with her voice laced with what sounded like heaviness.
That's what confused me. It's normal to get sick when you don't eat after awhile. Why would she make such a big deal out of it?
