It's been a few years since all of that happened and to say the least, me and Mitsuki couldn't be any closer.

Yes, we may have a few problems here and there, but we always talk them out and watch a movie as we cuddled afterwards. After all, you never want your relationship to be 'perfect' with no fights or disagreements because that would be considered toxic as if you're both scared to communicate with each other.

Like they say, 'communication is key'.

Right now, the both of us are looking for an apartment. We're getting to be that age where we should live on our own, or at least together, so we decided sooner than later.

We smiled at one another as we knew that this was it.

"We'll take it," I beamed at him as we signed some papers and left what would soon be our new home.

Mitsuki wrapped his arm around mine as we walked, "Wanna go get something to eat?"

  "Of course! I'm starving!"

As we entered the restaurant, we saw Sarada sitting with Cho-Cho and as we approached, she stood up and crossed her arms at us.

"So, the iconic 'Sun and Moon' gays finally make it even though we made plans 5 hours ago."

I looked at her with a slight glare, "We forgot, seeing as how we're trying to get our life together. Also, you shouldn't be talking with your girlfriend sitting right across from you, Sarada."

She just scoffed at me in response as she sat back down, "Right."

After a moment of awkward silence, we started laughing. I went to sit down next to her as Mitsuki did the same and sat next to Cho-Cho.

We ordered our food and enjoyed ourselves as we giggled and remembered times from when we were younger.

Once the sun went down, we said our goodbyes and left; bellies full and giggles still erupting from our throats.

Once back at my mom's house, we headed up to my room after saying goodnight.

Once inside, me and Mitsuki decided on a quick bath together since it was hot, and we were up and about all day.

We slipped out of our clothing and made our way to the bathroom. Once inside, we began running the room temperature water, making sure it wasn't too cold nor hot.

After throwing a bath bomb in with some bath soap, Mitsuki slipped in, looking up at me as if inviting me as I smiled gently back at him.

I took of my towel as I stepped into the bath and relaxed, leaning my back against Mitsuki.

I sighed in content as the cool water felt nice against my hot and sticky skin.

I must've fell asleep because once I reopened my eyes, I saw Mitsuki holding up my hand, which now was adorned by a gold ring resting on my ring finger as he held my hand up high.

I closed my hand around his as I couldn't help but stare at the ring, thinking I was dreaming.

"You're awake?" I heard Mitsuki's voice as I looked back at him.

He pulled my hand back down as we both looked down at it, "This, " he kissed my hand before holding it in front of our field of view, "Is my promise to you that we'll be together infinitely."

I stared at him as I felt tears brim my eyes, "Ok!", I yelled happily as I hugged him.

I couldn't wait to see what our future was going to hold for us.

Welp that's the end ppl! Who knows? I might do little shorts (idk if it'll be this book or a separate one) about their life together!! Make sure to stay tuned and thanks for sticking around till the end!!
