I opened my eyes to the sun shining into them and sat up, the events of yesterday coming back to my memory.
I rubbed my eyes and stretched.
'I just hope today isn't awkward and that my family will just let me be...', I thought as I got up from my bed and I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair.
After I was finished, I went back to my room and changed out of my pajamas. After that, I did my best to avoid mom and Hima as I went to the front door.
Just as I was about to open the door, I heard my mom yell my name from right behind me, scaring the hell out of me.
"Boruto!" I nervously turned around to face her. We all know by now how scary my mom can get when she is mad.
'Seems like I wished for too much...', I thought.
As I turned around, I saw my mom glaring at me.
"I hope you aren't planning on sneaking out without letting me know. Especially after that little stunt that you pulled yesterday."
I just stared at her for a second.
'Shouldn't she be a little bit angrier than she is right now? I mean, I did just disappear for DAYS without a trace—'
"Uh...sorry mom. I just....uh...I didn't want to be a bother after what I did. I'm sorry..."
At that, my mom smiled and said, "It's alright Boruto. I just don't want another scare like that again. You can go out as long as you make sure to tell me where you're going to go this time. Ok?"
I smiled softly at her as I turned back around and opened the door.
"Yeah. I will. Thank you mom! See you later!" As I walked out the house, I decided that the first place I wanted to go to first was my dad's face on the mountain.
I just wanted to think for a minute and hopefully have some time to relax by myself because of all the stress that I have been under lately, but knowing my friends, someone will end up finding me once they find out that I'm back and they'll ram my brain with questions.
Especially Mitsuki. Mitsuki always has this weird way of knowing where I am 24/7. I guess that's why I was surprised when he said that he thought I was dead after I just ended up disappearing without a trace for awhile.
I sighed as I arrived where I wanted to be. I climbed onto my dad's face and sat down, staring at the clouds.
'Huh...speaking of Mitsuki...I wonder where he is right now...'
I sighed to myself.
'I kinda wish that he were here right now actually...'
I sat up and took my sweater off as I was starting to get hot with it on and set it down behind my head to use it as a pillow or support of some type.
I sat there thinking to myself for about 2 more hours before I got bored and left, deciding to find some better way to spend my time.
As I was walking, I started to get lost in my thoughts. Lately, it seems that my thoughts have been getting much darker than they usually are. I guess it may be from all the stress of overthinking ever little thing since I started having a crush on Mitsuki.
I was walking along the bridge where Mitsuki found me yesterday when I looked up and saw Sarada and Mitsuki sitting on the bench, in the middle of a conversation.
I instantly ducked behind the nearest wall to me and hid my chakra presence so they wouldn't notice me.
I was just about to leave, when I'm pretty sure that I heard my name from one of them. I removed myself from hiding behind the wall to duck behind one that was a bit closer to them so that I could hear them better.
