Aadhya's POV
I saw my reflection in mirror before getting to the exit of the room.
Oops! I forget to give you the details, let me finish it in one sentence.
THIS IS HIS SECOND GIFT AND WE ARE GOING OUT FOR DINNER.
Isn't it enough?
No!!
Okay.
Then let me start from very beginning.
This morning he wasn't my side the time I woke up and it's not as if I was expecting him. He left without having breakfast, so I planned to make his lunch and send it to his office, but I don't know his preferences. So, I called him for that but the news he shared left me totally flabbergasted.
Flashback
Veer was in his office with Kabir and Yuvi when his phone rang and screen displayed Aadhya's name, he picked it up and placed it near his right ear.
"Hello" There came Aadhya's sweet voice.
"Huh" Veer replied without using any words.
"Um- Wh-what would you like to have for lunch?" Aadhya asked hesitantly.
"Get ready, we are going out tonight." Veer said in a commanding tone.
Aadhya took her time and gave a meek reply at end.
"Okay" To her it seemed he has totally ignored her topic of discussion, but he didn't as he give it a closure in his impolite way before hanging up the call.
"And you don't need to worry for my lunch.
Okay?
I'll be there by 7, so get ready by then"
Flashback ends
After getting commands from Mr. Devil, I supervised the cleaning staff, then after having my lunch I went to my room to preparing myself for night ahead. I was busy choosing my outfit in the walk-in closet when I sensed someone entering our room but the time I reached the closet door, a beautiful dress on bed mesmerized my eyes.
There was a note beside it which says "Get ready, wifey"

Veer's Office and his POV:
"We all know there is no pack of cards without a knave then why the heck we are paying shit to each of these roadside hooligans."
"They'll start capitalizing on this as our weakness"
Kabir grunted in seriousness, he said while his right hand reaches his neck to scrape the sensitive area with roughness of his fingertips and his not so sharp nails. He is getting impatient which is evident from his irked look and his scratching habit is one of the signs of his frustration.
"We are not giving them a chance instead we are snatching the one they have." His fire of annoyance needs to be put under control, and this discussion and my explanation would absorb the heat of his fire leaving meaningless ashes behind.
"What that means?"
My lips curved to give a genuine but hollow smile which has no place in this implausible discussion of our trio team. But everything has a reason, indeed this sweet smile is no exception.
I stood up from my head chair and crossed the table to where Kabir's tensed figure was standing, my action and my expression earned a surprising look from his side while Yuvi was mum all this time, leaning back on a table in corner with arms crossed and expressions, same as mine, serene. No ounce of doubts or unsureness in those orbs, we are not real brothers, but our bonding is unique, we knew each other's unexplored sides as well as boundaries.
