Aadhya's POV

I opened my eyes, blinking it a few times to adjust to the lightning, sunrays caressing my skin and gracing our room with its warmth. Curtains were slightly dancing, syncing with the moving wind.

I compelled my lazy self to sit, my back leaning on the bedpost, and my eyes again started admiring the familiar room, the white walls, golden chandelier, peach fur blanket, fur grey carpets and royal furniture. Everything in this room is impeccable, with no flaws to pull out.

My eyes were wandering around when they caught a glimpse of his shirt, magnificently draping across the arms of a recliner chair. I looked around, searching for the handsome face of my husband but couldn't find it. Finally, the clock rings a bell, indicating it's 8 in the morning. Probably he is in the gym.

It's our third day here in Ooty, and we will be staying here for four more days. These three days was sheer bliss. I have never felt this much connected to anyone. How could I be when I never let anyone cross the boundaries.

He is my destiny imprinted on the lines of my palm. He did everything I asked in these three days, whether it was a spa day or evening walks, and for me, these small sweet moments were much more precious than any expensive jewellery piece.

To my bad luck, he found my diary when we were unpacking, and he read everything, literally everything from there. It has some crazy things I wrote a time back on how I wanted my married life. Then, of course, he made fun of it (not in the sense of making fun of her feelings but of some silly things she wrote) but what he did next surprised me. He promised me that we would do all those listed things.

Dancing in the rain, watching movies together, dancing, singing, horse riding, staying under the light of the sky, walking across the beach, pool parties, long drives and much more.

The evening

I am standing in front of the mirror, getting ready for yet another surprise from my Mr. Handsome. From the time we arrived here, he has been giving pleasant surprises either in the form of a present or his sweet and calm behaviour.

Well, for now, I am admiring my dolled-up figure in the mirror, wearing a sleeveless black long dress. Once I was satisfied with my look, I left the room and went downstairs, where I saw him dressed in a devilish black tux, his back towards me.

The commotion of my footsteps informed him of my presence, and his eyes travelled to where I was. I saw rays of admiration lit upon his face, which he didn't care to hide. Yeah! he didn't put effort into hiding his surprise. Instead, he kept gawking at me until I faked coughing to get him out of his dream world and then he came forward, held my hands and asked me to close my eyes which I did before he put some chain in my neck.

I opened my eyes to see it was a beautiful diamond charm in heart shape, he kissed my forehead as he sometimes does, and I am so addicted to these forehead kisses now. Then we climbed into his Mustang and left for our destination. It was a long drive with romantic music. We held hands while he was handling the steering wheel with another hand.

End of Aadhya's POV

Meri biwi ka favorite gaana kon sa ha?

(What's the favourite song of my wife?) He asked, taking his first step to knowing his wife's taste.

Mujhe kyon puch rahe ho? ussi se pucho.

(Why are you asking me? Ask her.) Aadhya's moody self is no more affected by the identity of the person sitting next to her, which became the reason for Veer's relief. He always succeeded in reading Aadhya's mind, but sometimes her fear made him worry, so the first thing he decided to do was make her comfortable around him.
