"Okay, I'll see you in two days for your c section. Take it easy until then and be prepared," the doctor said as we finished up our very last appointment.

"Thank you," I smiled and grabbed my phone. Stokeley helped me get off of the exam bed and on my feet.

"Are you ready for her?" He asked me.

"Yes but what I'm really ready for is for you to take me home and have your way with me," I whispered in his ear.

"Alright come on," he smiled and grabbed my small bag and Starbucks cup.

The next day

"Something just feels wrong," I said as I sat up in the bed. "She hasn't moved all day."

"Do you want me to call your doctor or do you want to go to the hospital or something?" Stokeley asked as he sat by my side on our bed, rubbing my belly.

"Call the doctor and see what she says," I asked. "I'm gonna walk around the hallway and see if she'll move around."

I slowly stood from the bed and began to leave the room as he dialed the doctors office. I walked a few steps down the hallway to the room next to mine. This room would be for our daughter.

The door was decorated with pink and her name was painted across it.

Marianna

I opened the door and looked inside. The room was still, waiting for our baby girl to come home and bring it to life.

I closed the door and headed down the hallway some more. The next room was a guest room, it hadn't yet been completely furnished but it was coming together nicely.

I want to use this room for the next baby, if we have one. But for now it'll function as a guest room.

I was thinking about reaching out to my mother. Although things left off on bad terms with her i mean she's my mom. I'm having my first baby and I want her around.

I'll talk to Stokeley about it later.

"Baby!"

I looked down the hallway, "yeah?"

"The doctor said we need to come in right now and you may end up having the baby today," he told me.

"Okay, let's go," I said. "Can you just grab my phone and charger and stuff from my night stand."

"Yeah," he went back into our room and then came back out a few seconds later, "let's go."
