Jahseh Onfroy

I heard three knocks at the door and seconds later, I saw my mom poking her head into the room before quietly entering.

She smiled as she approached me, her eyes immediately tearing up as she took in the sight of Marianna laying in my arms, looking around.

"Oh my gosh," she held her hands over her mouth as she stood above me, admiring Marianna.

"She's beautiful," she smiled at me. "Thank you for calling me, you don't know how happy you've made me."

I just smiled, adjusting Marianna in my arms, "do you want to hold her?" I asked.

She nodded and smiled, "hold on let me wash my hands."

She walked over to the little sink and washed her hands, drying them with the paper towels immediately after.

She walked back over to me and I handed Marianna over to her. She smiled down at her as she seated herself in the rocking chair in the corner, silently rocking her.

I looked over at Stokeley who was watching her hold marianna, smiling. He looked over at me, "thank you."

"For what?" I asked.

"You just gave me the best gift that I could ever ask for."

I smiled and looked back to marianna and my mom. They both looked so happy together it warmed my heart.

"I'll be back tomorrow and If it's okay id like to get some stuff for her, like gifts," my mom asked as she hugged me.

"Uhm when we leave the hospital you can, my car isn't that big and I don't wanna have to carry all that home with me," I told her.

"Okay." She smiled, "I'll be back in the morning. Is it okay with you if I tell the family about this?"

"Yeah I don't care," I shrugged. "I just don't want anyone visiting right now, maybe after we leave the hospital and get settled at home."

"Yeah, I get it. Anyways, I love you I'll see you tomorrow. Text me," she hugged me once more and then rubbed Marianna's head. "Nice to meet you, Stokeley. Have a good night, love you." She pulled him into a hug that lasted about five seconds.

"Thank you for coming, I know it meant alot to him and I just love seeing him happy," Stokeley told my mom.

"It was no problem really," my mom smiled. "Alright bye for real now." She waved us goodbye and then left.
