STOKELEY

"Jahseh why the fuck do you have adoption paper work in your car?" I slammed the papers on the kitchen table.

"The therapist gave them to me," he answered as he bottle fed Marianna. "I'm not using them you can throw them away."

"When did you start seeing a therapist?" I asked.

"I have postpartum depression so my OBGYN referred me to a therapist and this bitch told me to give my baby up for adoption," he smacked his lips.

"What?" I smacked my lips. "And what did you say?"

"I said no, but she says I have Stockholm syndrome, which is like when you fall in love with your kidnapper or something," he explained.

"And what do you think?" I asked.

"I don't believe her for the most part," he explained.

"What do you mean for the most part?" I got mad.

"For the most part I really do love you but you did kidnap me Stokeley and you can't sit here and act like we just met at the grocery store or something. You know how it is," he told me.

"You don't love me." I stated.

"How don't I love you?" He asked.

"Because you just don't," I yelled.

He looked at me and rolled his eyes. He took Marianna with him out of the kitchen.

JAHSEH

I don't know who this man thinks he is. I'm trying my best to make everything work out for everyone, including me.

I put Marianna to bed after burping and changing her diaper. I took the baby monitor with me and went to the kitchen to clean up.

When I got back to the kitchen Stokeley was gone. I rolled my eyes and cleaned up and then went to my bedroom room.

When I finally laid down it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

My phone started to ring so I answered it, "hello?"

"Jah I'm going to Arizona," stokeley said.

"For what?" I asked.

"I got something I need to do," he told me. "Watch the baby. And don't give her away please."

"Why would I give away my baby," I smacked my lips. "Why are you going to Arizona?"

"Don't worry about it," he smacked his lips and hung up the phone.

I rolled my eyes and tossed my phone to the side. This is exactly why I didn't want to get back together, this is literally ridiculous.
