"We need to get home and to bed, she has an appointment in the morning and then I have work." I explained as I went to grab Marianna from Stokeley.
"Where is she going to be while you're at work ?" Stokeley asked me.
"Daycare," I explained. "I made sure to sign up before I had her so she could start right away."
"Why are you going back to work so soon?" Symere asked me.
"Well it's been two months and I have bills to pay," I chuckled and shifted the baby in my arms since she was falling asleep.
"We could always just come back here," Stokeley pointed out.
"We talked about this already. I'm not raising my daughter in a cellar," I rolled my eyes. I'm not having this conversation again.
"Why not?" Jonathan asked.
"Because I don't want to and I don't have to," I rolled my eyes and stood from the couch. I grabbed the diaper bag and put it on my shoulder.
"Sorry, I wasn't trying to hit a nerve," he shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess. I'll see you guys this weekend," I said goodbye to everyone.
