A few hours later...

I watched Jahseh sleep in the hospital bed and ran my hands over my face. Shit just went left so fast. The baby's heartbeat was slowing down so she needed to be delivered as soon as possible.

Everything was happening so fast.

Thank god we decided to call when we did because we could have just lost our daughter that fast.

Jahseh opened his eyes and looked around, "what time is it?"

"Four thirty seven. You've only been sleep for like ten minutes, do you feel numb yet?" I asked.

"I can't feel anything below my shoulders," he explained. "I'm ready."

"Okay, do you want me to go get your doctor?"

"Yeah."

4 hours later...

I smiled as I watched Marianna squirm around in the little baby bassinet they gave us. She looked just like me and jahseh at the same time.

She was absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with her Instantly.

Jahseh has been asleep since the delivery. All the blood was just too much for him. Hell it was too much for me.

"Can I see her?" Jahseh asked me.

I looked over to see him awake, but still kind of out of it.

I picked her up and walked over to his bed, laying her in his arms.

He smiled weakly as he looked down at her, running his hand over her hair. "Hi marianna."

She was asleep still but she slightly moved around in his arms, making him smile.

"She looks like you," he told me.

"I know," I smiled. "I must've been really pissing you off the whole time you were pregnant."

"You were." He laughed it off, grabbing his phone.

"What's wrong?" I noticed he seemed like he had something on his mind.

"I was thinking if I should call my mom?" He told me. "I don't know we left things kind of bad. We got into a huge argument earlier that day before I you- well you know."

"I'm sure she would love to hear from you and meet marianna. It's up to you baby," I explained.

He nodded his head, going back on his phone.

"I texted her, she's on her way."
