"Hey, Reese! What's up today? Any news, rumours?" Jake said, he's been my friend ever since the start of my first year in highschool and until now in college.

"... I don't know." I replied, not caring about ANYTHING.

"Tch, you're always like that replying nothing. Don't you get tired saying those line of yours?"

"... I don't know." I said, not knowing what to reply. I don't really care 'bout others anyway. Be it my friend or not.

"Hmm... then what if I say I like you?... No. What if I say "I Love You", will you still reply that?" he said, hesitating on the last sentences.

"... What?" I feel like I've been deaf on that split moment he said those words, and now I can't speak.

"Haah... I said, *gulp* I Love You." he said, gulping in (mid-sentence) due to nervousness.

"I... I-I, umm..." oh shizz, I'm blushing. I don't know what to say!!

"Sooo... still don't know? Uh well, it's fine if you don't want to answer me right now. I'll wait." shizz!! I don't want this to happen. I don't need this to happen!

"J-Jake! I-I... l-love you too." I said, barely audible to hear.

"Huh? What was that? I didn't hear you." he said, curious to what I just said.

"I said... I l-love you too." I repeated loudly enough to let him hear.

"Uh-huh. What's that again? I didn't quite get what you're saying." he replied slightly shocked, but changed it into a mocking tone as to make me repeat again.

"Tch! I said... I LOVE YOU! Is that enough?" blushing, I managed to get the words out of my mouth. I realized that we're on school grounds and everyone is now cheering on us, I just thought that this, is, really, embarrasing.

"Haha! I know you love me! So can I hug you now? I won't take "I don't know" as an answer. :)" tch, if only...

"Tch, fine! Yes, you can." I (again) whispered, embarrased of what I did earlier.

"Whaaaat? I can't hear you!" he said, copying the pirate from spongebob.

" *giggle* Stop that! And will you stop repeating our conversation? *sigh* Com'ere." I gestured him to come closer to me and he did. I faced him, our faces merely two inches from each other.

"Umm... Reese, we're too close. Our faces are almost about to touch." Jake said shyly. Blushing, he fidgeted in his place.

"Yeah, I know. I thought you'd like it if we're this close and..." I've been cut off by him suddenly hugging me.

"I love you. Now you know that, don't say your line to me, okay? I love you, too." he whispered to my ear while hugging me.

(Jake's thoughts)This is the woman I fell in love with, and nothing's gonna change that. Even those "I don't know." line of hers won't affect me. Actually, that's the reason why I fell in love with her. Someone who always pretend to not know ANYTHING despite her intelligence, but do know what to say when she falls in love.

"Okay, I love you too." smiling, I pecked his lips and the crowd surrounding us began to cheer ever so loudly.

The bell rang then all of us, students, dashed into our designated classes and continued our lives as usual, like nothing happened...

Ayan! One-shot na lang muna tayo para maikli.
