Chapter 1: Family

Police Academy in Hyrule City.

"This is ridiculous" 

That's exactly what Link thought when he was sitting in his psychology class. 

He turns to his neighbor seeing that he is just as bored as him.

Link wasn't bored because he wasn't interested in psychology, actually the opposite was the case, he loved it. But this damn teacher ruined it all for him, the class was boring and not useful in the slightest. He decided to look up at the clock, to check how long this lesson would still be.

"Well, at least it isn't long anymore." his neighbor who happened to be his best friend commented. 

"I know, I can read the damn clock myself." Link spat a bit more annoyed than he wanted to. "I'm sorry Sheik, just. Ah,  I just love this topic, how can someone ruin it so much?"

"I don't know dude" Sheik replied.

The bell rings and class is over. Link goes out of the classroom, and Sheik already disappeared.
Damn he is good at that he's always instantly gone after class. I feel like he just leaves before class even ends.
Suddenly Link was pulled out of his thoughts as a tall figure bumped into him.

"Oh I didn't see you there, couldn't you just guess that I was going to run into you with your crazy psychological facts? Hahaha my goodness you're such an idiot." The tall figure was Groose.

Groose was, well, a big asshole well at least to anyone who isn't a Victoria Secret Supermodel. 

"I'm not like you Linky, I want to actually kill the bad guys and not talk to them. When I will finally be able to prove how good I am, I'll easily get all the baddies like this one."

Link didn't want to look but couldn't stop himself either. When he looked around he could instantly tell who Groose was talking about.

He saw her.

Long blond hair that looked golden in the sun. Her hair was braided on her head. Emerald green eyes in which he instantly got lost in.

A picture-perfect body.

Then it hit him. Or he, he hit him.

Groose stood over Link looking down on him. Link knew he could easily beat Groose in a fight, but unfortunately, his father was the one running this academy which means Link would get kicked out if he fought back. Also, Groose knew Link was too kind-hearted to do anything.

"I saw you idiot staring! You're hilarious Link, don't think you'll ever have a chance with her. You seriously need to get a mirror to check the way you look. You couldn't even get our psychology teacher if you tried your whole life haha."

The people started coming up to them pulling Groose away but not too forcefully, thinking they also would get kicked out of school.

Link got up, he was used to things like that, it wasn't new, he never fought back. He looked around seeing her looking. He left the academy as fast as possible. A rage inside of him. He was confused by himself, all the times he's been beat, beat for simply being kind and beat for being better than the rest, he never even once had this kind of rage in him. 

He got in his car to drive home, home where his sister and parents were waiting. That thought helped him to calm down.

When he arrived at home to a tight hug by his favorite woman. 

"You're home!" Aryll screamed so loud it hurt his ears. Having her made him forget what just happened some minutes ago. 

Him now being his happy and kind self again, patted her on her head before lifting her upon his shoulders.
