Hyrule City
Link and Zelda were out to eat, nothing fancy, just spending some time together again. It has been 3 months now since Zelda was shot and things have been going just great between them again. Link felt like that wall Zelda talked about some months ago was slowly going away and he could push through and get to her heart.
It was the most important thing for him, he wanted to be there for her all the time not just during work and a bit after. Every time he looked at her he felt his heart beating faster and him just wanting to hold her and tell her that everything will be fine if they stay together.
He wanted her to be safe that's all he cared about, he wouldn't mind losing his job or losing everything he had, just to keep her safe.
Link and Zelda were sitting and this restaurant and from time to time more and more people came in and talked to Link asking for pictures and autographs. Zelda thought it was hilarious, seeing Link being somewhat happy but still annoyed. But she couldn't help but just let her heart beat faster every time she saw Link smile and every time he hugged a fan she just wanted to be that fan being hugged by Link, just that he won't ever let go again.
She needed this.
She needs Link.
But can she let him get through?
It's difficult for her, she more than just wants to be with Link but she can't, every time she feels like she is almost there she just gets put back behind her walls of emotions.
But for now, this is enough, somewhat.
She was with Link and they were together and took care of each other, this was good for her. It was the closest relationship she had in forever.
This could work, soon they could finally be together she can't deny her feelings anymore.
