Chapter 12: Desperation Time

Somewhere in Hyrule City

Link and Zelda were driving to the address that she spotted on the wall, the girl was fully motivated and was full of desire to finally catch her family's murderer.

When the two arrived they were at an old barn which seemed to not been used in forever, it was made out of old wood, and over the gate leading into the barn there was a big bloody smiley, which looked exactly like the one in Zelda's room, they were at the right spot.

"Okay, we don't know what's in there so we have to be careful and watch out for any kind of traps or similar things."

Zelda nods, she was too eager to get in there to really listen to Link.

They got out of their car and looked at the big gate that they somehow had to get through.

"How will we do this?"

Breaking it open with a kick wasn't possible and because of Zelda's hurry, they also had no tools to crack the door open.

Link was looking for a solution until his thoughts were interrupted by a loud shot.

He ducked out of instinct and then saw Zelda with her gun and that she simply shot the lock with it.

She just shrugs opens the gate slowly and carefully, trying not to trigger any possible traps luckily for them, there were no traps.

They now entered the barn fully and went on to look around, trying to take in anything that might give them actual evidence of Jerry Tyson being the killer, so far they couldn't even prove that he was the one to write the letter so they were hoping that they would find something big here and they did, it was bigger than they had liked.

They found the paycheck that proved that Groose and his dad did indeed pay him to murder her family, this wasn't all though.

They also found some ,,souvenirs" he keeps from the murderers he does, he takes a bit of hair from the victims, they didn't just find a small bottle, they found an entire bag, filled with more bags and they all had names on them.

Link and Zelda were both disgusted, he was a serial killer and had way more victims than anyone thought, they thought he killed like 25 people it was probably three times that.

This was really all they found, they didn't found anything else that would be of evidence for them.

They decided to go back to the headquarters to catch up with the team.

"Alright Zelda, we got everything we can go now."

She nods and they go back to their car.

When they arrived, the team and Captain Fury were surrounding a table full of evidence, Link and Zelda sent them what they found and they looked at everything even though they knew they wouldn't get much out of it.

"So he keeps some hair of his victims and puts them in a bag to put them in another bag?"

Sheik was just as confused as the rest.

"Seems to be the case."

"We tested the DNA and figured out who the victims were almost none of them have a connection and if they do then they are from the same family, all of the victims were also missed and now they family got the news and they don't have to wonder what happened."
