Random Bar in Hyrule City

Link was entertaining people and one after the other came up to him and asked for a picture or a sign afterward. She didn't get why, Link was a nice guy but he wasn't famous enough for people to wanting pictures and signs of him.
She checked her phone and googled Link on Instagram. And there he was, having over 1 Million followers. 1,593,207, to be exact. How did this even happen in this short amount of time? It didn't matter, the way she knew Link he liked that he made people happy but disliked the fact that he was famous for it.

And this was the case, when you look at Link he was happy because he makes people happy but on the inside, he was just trying to get away from all the attention. Zelda waited in the line to get an "autograph" herself, but she didn't use one of Link's pictures she used one that they took together with both of them in LA.

When Zelda was finally in front of Link a good hour went by. Link was already tired and didn't even look at Zelda, it was until she handed him the picture and said "Please sign it for Zelda." That Link looked up at her. He signed the picture and the next person already wanted an autograph and pushed Zelda away, so she waited for Link outside, he had to be finished soon the line was short after Zelda.

She waited outside of the building and leaned against the wall, thoughts rushing through her head, thoughts if Link would even forgive her, if they could get close again.

When Link came out he thanked the owners of the building for setting up the event and told them that he probably will be back soon. When he wanted to walk away, he saw Zelda. His smile vanished and he walked past her not paying attention to her.

She ran after him.

"Link, wait!"

"I did for three months you never called."

"Listen I know you are angry."

She was cut off by Link turning around to face her. His eyes are full of frustration and pain.

"You damn right I'm angry. You know I watched you die in that ambulance? Do you know what's that like? Watching the life drain out of someone that you." Link thought for a second and remembers that she doesn't remember what he said. "Someone you care about."

All she could do was look at him, he was so hurt and it made her feel even more guilty than she already did.

"I told you I needed time."

"You said a few days."

"I needed more."

"Well, then you should have said that."

Link was starting to turn around again to leave he started walking again before he was quickly stopped by Zelda again.

"Link I couldn't call you okay? Not without dragging myself into everything I tried to get space from. I needed time to work myself through everything."

"Did the person you moved to help you with that? I'm sure he was of better help than I could have ever been."

Link was mad and it was obvious, he himself was surprised at his harsh voice, he didn't want it to be like this but he got more furious with every word she spoke.

"I don't live there anymore."

Link saw that she was serious and that he did seriously hurt her with his word and his voice.

Zelda left and Link just stood there wondering if he should go after her or just leave her. He couldn't, despite all the pain she made him go through he couldn't leave her, not after hurting her.

Link looked after her and Zelda was heading towards a small playground where there was a couple of swings in which one of those Zelda sat down. Link sat onto the next one.

For a while they sat there in silence, both not wanting to start.

Link looked into the distance and Zelda at the photo which Link just signed.

"I like the sign you have, you add something personal at everyone's sign right?"

"Yeah, it seems fitting, I always give a small compliment. So why did you move out?"

Link was wondering why she moved out of his house and then whoever she was living with.

"I really liked it there, but that wasn't enough."

She looked at him trying to find any emotions but Link looked straightforward, not showing anything.

"After my family was killed, it's like something inside of me changed. Sort of like a wall, trying not to let anyone close so I wouldn't get hurt again. I don't like it but that's what it is."

She stopped trying hard not to cry. She started talking again shortly, trying to get it over with.

"Since I changed like this, I can't have the kind of relationship I want to, not until I find the one that is responsible, not until I get this over with. Until then, this wall will probably stay up."

Link finally looked at her again. For a moment they just sat there, looking at each other. Link saw that she was serious and that they actually could work this out. So he started talking.

"I guess we then have to find the guys that did it and take them down." Zelda smiled, so he did forgive her. "Doesn't mean I'm not mad anymore."

"The team told me what you did, working there until you got kicked out."

"Well, it seemed like the only logical thing to do right then and there. But it all led to nothing, trust me I checked it all multiple times."

She looked down sad that they had nothing to work with, but still happy Link forgave her.

"Let's get to work then."

They got up and went back to the team and working on murderer cases again, all until something happened that might throw things off again.
