Chapter 2: Murderer

Police Academy Hyrule City

Link was currently in combat training, working on his way to defeat an enemy without seriously threatening his life.
When you look around in class most were just throwing and fighting those test objects around like they were actually going to kill them.
This wasn't Link's way. He was different from the others not just because of his way of combat fighting. But because of his way of living, talking, and acting.

"Ohhh look at Link" Link didn't bother to look he knew it was Groose. "Always being nice, well being nice always puts you on the floor. Why don't you stop cuddling that thing and actually train with it?"

Link thought about it for a moment and then absolutely destroyed the test dummy, with one punch he sends it flying through the whole room to let it lay right in front of Groose.
Link didn't say a word he didn't need to, everybody knew Link was the best around. He just barely showed it when not needed.

This didn't just grab the eyes of his classmates but also from another special person who happened to be at the academy again.

She looked down and wasn't really impressed but it at least gained her attention.
"He's the second-best we got here."
A voice came from behind her.
"The best obviously being Groose."
And now she knew it was Groose dad. Everyone who looked for longer than 2 seconds could tell that Groose was all talk and not that great at, well, anything really.
"Get me down there. I want to talk with them."
"Miss I'm not sure this is the best idea."
"Oh, it is. It will help us a lot with this investigation."
"Well then so be it, you can go down."

She went down the stairs grabbing anyone's attention.
They all got in one line that's when she said.
"Attention! I'm Detective Zelda Hyrule. I will be training you today."

Grosse obviously couldn't hold back a horrible sentence.

"Detective Hyrule, are you here to watch me? Of course, you are we all know I'm the best here."

"What's your name?"

"Groose, my lady."

"Step forward Groose. But your right foot forward."

"Are we gonna wrestle? I know some moves that you might like."

Zelda didn't say anything with just two small moves she put him on the floor making his nose bleed.

"Ah, detective Hyrule I see you've already got to know the recruits here."

That's the teacher of this combat class. Link's favorite he was hard but fair but still manages to be nice, most of the time.

"Detective Hyrule will be with us for the next few days or weeks even. So get used to it. She was the youngest detective ever and she still, is to this day. So, show some damn respect. Today she will be assisting us in combat training. Seems like Groose got the first lesson.
Detective, you can take it from here."

"Thank you, Mister Deku."

"Okay, you all know who is up there. And I'm sure the person, up there didn't like what I did to his son. But I damn well know that I couldn't care less. This is how it will be if you train with me.
Now, I will do something I know you haven't done before. You will first fight each other in a tournament. Whoever wins that tournament will be fighting against me. There are no rules other than only fighting with your own body. There is no such thing as dirty moves. Not in here, not out on the streets.
Okay, get it moving the bracket is back there."

Link and the others went over to see who they would fight.
He saw if he were to win all his fights he would face Groose in the semi-finals and Sheik in the finals.
