Chapter 1.

"... I don't love you like I did yesterday", Gerard sang the last words of the song on the stage. Those words hurted me like hell from inside. I was playing my guitar on Gerard's right side and tried not to cry in front of fans and the band. I knew that the song was about me. Gerard and I had a secret relationship, before Gerard fell in love with Lindsey, his girlfriend. No one else ever knew about us, except Gerard's brother Mikey, to whom I had told about us. I knew that I could trust Mikey. I knew that he would never tell anyone about us. He could keep the secret. I never really liked Lindsey, mostly maybe because she stole Gerard from me.

We started playing the next song on our setlist, house of wolves and I moved closer to Gerard on the stage, as always. We always had our own show on stage. It made fans go crazy. I pressed my lips against Gerard's neck causing a hysteric scream by our fans and Gerard got out of words. I grinned at the reaction I caused.

Too soon Gerard poked me out of himself and I stayed quite close to Gerard to play my guitar. I felt myself betrayed and sad. Gerard had never pushed me away from him before. Lindsey had ruined my life and I really hated her. I had always hated, I hated at the moment, and probably I would always hate her.

Finally, the gig ended, and we walked away from the stage. I really loved being on stage and loved our fans, but now I was kind of happy that it was over.

"Gee...? I need to talk to you", I said quietly, almost whispering.

"You can go ahead to the tour bus. We'll come soon", Gerard said to the rest of the band.

When the rest of the band had gone away from the door, Gerard guided me to the leather sofa of the backstage and looked at me awaiting.

"Why did you push me away from you on the stage?" I asked quietly. I sounded sad, which I was.

"Lindsey doesn't like our show on stage", Gerard answered.

"What does Lindsey have anything to do with this? And what about fans? They're really hoping to see some Frerard", I asked.

"I really love Lindsey. I don't want to anger her. Those fans, who go to our gig just to see some Frerard, aren't real fans. Real fans go to gig for our music", Gerard answered and tried to avoid my eyes.

"Lindsey has never really liked me. She's just jealous of our stage show", I explained to Gerard.

"Don't be silly. I'm sure that she likes you", Gerard said.

"I'm not! I know that she doesn't like me! You just can't see it", I said.

"Let's go, that we can move on", Gerard said and stood up. I grabbed on Gerard's hand.

"Gerard... You can't realize how much it hurts me when you sing, I don't love you. I know that it's about me", I said.

Gerard turned around and looked at me. I gazed deep into his greenish- brown eyes.

"You still haven't got over me", he sighed and turned his eyes from me.

"I will never get over you. Gerard, I love you", I said.

"I love you too. As a friend" Gerard answered and started to walk to the door.

Tears started to drop on to my cheek.
