Chapter 14.

Gerard's PoV.

"Mikey actually knows about this already, but Frank and I are dating", I tell Ray and Bob as I grab Frank's hand. He squeezes my hand nervously. Ray looks surprised and Bob's expression is hard to read.

"Whoa... But what about Lindsey?" Ray asks confusedly. I sigh.

"Uh... Well, obviously we're divorcing because I want to be with Frank. I really care about Lindsey, but I've realized that I might have been in love with Frank this whole time without realizing it", I answer.

"You mean, like the whole time you've been with Lindsey?" Ray asks confusedly. I nod.

"Yeah... And a little bit longer. We had a secret relationship before I met Lindsey", I answer.

"Then why were you with Lindsey in the first place?" Ray asks, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Somehow Lindsey got me falling in love with her and made me forget my feelings towards Frank for a while, but in the spring and summer the feelings came back again and I couldn't ignore it anymore", I tell. Ray nods.

"Okay... So your old stage show wasn't just a show then?" he asks. I nod.

Ray quiets down, probably to deal with all the new information he had just gotten inside his head. I glance at Bob who remains expressionless, but at least he hasn't left or said anything negative. Maybe he's just dealing with the new information in his head.

"Does it bother you?" I ask cautiously, glancing at Ray and Bob.

"As long as it doesn't affect much on our work it doesn't", Bob answers.

"It doesn't bother me either. I just want you both to be happy", Ray says and smiles at us. I sigh in relief and smile back at Ray.

"Thanks. It means a lot to us", I say and glance at Frank who smiles at me relieved.

"Uh... We also have something else to tell too. It kind of overshadows the first news and even Mikey doesn't know about this yet", I tell. I look at Mikey and meet with his concerned look. Also Ray and Bob look at us confusedly.

"Well, tell us already!" Mikey demands impatiently. I take a deep breath.

"Uh... When I went to tell Lindsey about the fact that I'm in love with Frank and want a divorce, I found out that she also had something to tell me... She's pregnant", I tell.

They all look very shocked and Mikey almost drops his coffee mug on the floor.

"What?!" Mikey and Ray exclaim simultaneously. I just nod in response.

"Uhm... Alright. What happens now, then?" Mikey asks confusedly.

"Well... Lindsey wants to keep the baby and I want to be in that baby's life so you're going to be an uncle", I answer and grin. A confused smile appears on Mikey's face.

"So, this is a good thing, even though you said a couple minutes ago that this news is overshadowing the first one?" Mikey asks.

"Well, it's conflicting. Part of me is excited about the baby, but it also will complicate my relationship with Frank and the divorce with Lindsey quite a lot. As if it wasn't complicated already", I answer.

"But I guess mostly it's a good thing, even though it's complicated", I continue and smile.

"So you're living with Frank now?" Ray asks. I nod.

"Yeah, Lindsey wanted to stay at our house and anyway it's probably easier for me to move to live at Frank's place than Lindsey to start searching for a completely new place to live", I answer.
