Chapter 4

Andy's POV

I woke up at around seven to my alarm going off. I get up and start getting ready for work and also check to see if Maya is going in today. She said she was gonna stay home one more day to make sure Carina was fully better. I didn't sleep great last night, I don't know what was wrong. I brushed it off and headed out to go to work. I get to the station and walk in the locker room to see Vic getting changed.

" Vic you're back! Are you feeling better?" I said walking over to her "Yeah, I still have a little cough but other than that I feel completely fine" said Vic closing her locker "What about you, you look a little pale are you ok?" said Vic "What? I feel completely fine, other than I didn't sleep great I probably just look tired" I said as I finished getting changed "Well you know what to do if you start feeling bad" said Vic "I'm sure I'll be fine, come on let's go eat I think Miller made bacon" I said and we made our way to the beanery.

We walked in to see Dean, Jack, and Ben eating away. "Hey Hughes, your back" said Jack as he went to hug her and then Vic coughed twice "And I'll just go back to my seat" he said as put his arms down and turned back around to go to his seat. "Hey Hughes, keep your germs away from my bacon" Dean said as he grabbed some off of the plate "Shut up and hand me some" said Vic "Not until you wash your hands" said Dean. Vic rolled her eyes and was about to get up when I stopped her " I'll make you a plate Vic" I said getting up "Thanks Herrera, and when did you become such a germaphobe Miller" said Vic drinking some of her water "Since it got us stuck with B shift guys for multiple shifts" said Dean "Don't be mad at me just because Sullivan made spend a shift with them" Vic said while laughing "Shut up" said Dean as he threw a piece of bacon at her. "Here Vic" I said as I put a plate in front of her and sat down with my plate "Thanks Herrera" said Vic as she began eating "How's Montgomery and Carina?" asked Ben "Travis said he was gonna come back today but then he spiked another fever so he had to stay home" said Vic in between bites "And Carina" said Jack "Carina's good her fever finally came down but Maya just stayed with her again today just in case" I said "Well that's good" said Ben "Morning 19" said Sullivan as he walked in "Morning Cap" we all said back "Hughes good to have you back, but make sure to sanitize a bunch today" said Sullivan "Yes sir" said Vic "Herrera meet me in my office after you're finished, the rest of you check the schedule and get started with chores" said Sullivan "Yes Captain" I said.

After breakfast, I made my way down to Sullivan's office. I knocked on the door and he let me in. "You wanted to see me, cap" I said closing the door "Well not so much seeing, but doing" he said seductively leaning me against the wall as he started kissing me. We went hard at it for a while and started making our way into the bunk room. Eventually we stopped, I cuddled up against him and looked into his beautiful brown eyes as he stroked my hair.

"You know we can't keep doing this, we've already been caught once" I said gently rubbing his chest "What? Who knows?" he said kind of panicked "Calm down, Bishop knows but she promises not to tell and I trust her" I said calming him down a little "Are you sure" Sullivan asked "Yes I pro-" I started to say but I started coughing "Andy are you ok" Sullivan asked concerned "Yeah I just" I got interrupted again by coughing some more "Andy maybe you should go home" Sullivan said as he put the back of his hand against my cheek "No I'm fine" I said lying through my teeth "Really cause you sound terrible" said Sullivan. I then gave him a death glare "Come on I'll take you home" said Sullivan "No then they'll know about us, I'll ask Hughes to take me home ok" I said "Ok then, feel better than baby" said Sullivan as he kissed me on my forehead. Sullivan helps me to the front of his office and checks to see if anyone's there. The coast is clear and I make my way to find Vic. I find her in the back stacking hoses with Ben.
