Safe now

Ever since Mono had lost Six to the Thin man he was determined to get her back. No matter what would be in his way, he would prevail.

Having faced the people of this pale city with faces all distorted, wrong, barely able to speak, he finally reached a safe room. The room was small and there was a TV turned off.

Mono took this time to catch his breath. He sat down against the wall, pondering what he's going to do.

He is determined to save Six, but he couldn't shake the thought that he stood and watched her be taken away when he did nothing. He held his head in pain from the static, but now his head hurt because of how much he blames himself.

Flashback...

Six: RUN!

Six yelled as Mono was trailing behind her. Mono didn't dare look back as the Thin man was coming closer.

They got into the nearby room and Six hid under a table. There wasn't any space for two so Mono chose to hide under the bed, right as the Thin man had come.

Mono and Six tried to hide their best, but unfortunately, Six wasn't in the best of hiding spaces. Mono having watched as Six had tripped while everything in the room was bending as the Thin man reached to grab Six.

Six desperately tried to reach out her hand to Mono, but the static in Mono's ears hurt so much that he could only bend over in pain as he tried to cover his ears.
