New lookMono and Six were wandering the pale city as always. They just so happened to have dropped into a room filled with mountains of unrecieved invitations. Undelivered packages too.
There was a large gap in their way to proceed forward. That was a problem until Mono noticed a nearby light they could use.
Mono called for Six to follow his lead and made a short jump to grab the lamp above, and swung over to the other side.
Six was up next. Six jumped and grabbed it just as Mono did. She needed to gain a bit more momentum to cross ahead, but right before she let go, the bar she hung onto broke, causing her to fall and miss the jump.
Mono: Six!
Six's fall wasn't a long one. She was still in Mono's sight but she couldn't get back up from where she was.
Six: I've fallen, and I can't get up.
Mono: Um, hold on. Try to find a way around. There's always a way.
Six was examining her surroundings and noticed two different vents ahead and behind her.
Six: I have a couple options. I'll check them both. You just keep going forward, I'll see you soon.
Mono: Be safe.
Mono's head went back out of sight from Six's line of sight. She figured going to the back was a good start. She was looking for a way out but only came to dead end.
Something managed to catch her eye instead of a way out. It was a post persons hat. Six picked it up and was reminded of the hats she used to have.
A devil with a big nose, a creepy sack, a tea cup, and a wolf mask. Why not add another to the collection. Except for the fact that she lost the other masks, so this hat is the only one.
She flipped back her hood and placed the hat on her head. It felt... nice, having a new hat for herself.
Six: New look.
She said to herself. She then realized Mono was waiting for her and began to rush to the other vent. Luckily it did lead to a different room, but there was still no way back up.
Six groaned at this fact, but soon found a TV and realized something else that came to mind.
Six: Mono?
Mono: Yeah?
Six: You still got that TV remote on you?
Mono looked down and noticed the TV. He knew exactly what she was talking about. He pulled out the remote and turned it on from the top floor, still not realizing Six has a hat.
Six: Thanks!
Six doesn't have Mono's abilities, but it could still work to teleport through a TV as well.
She slipped through and was sent to the TV back at the lamp. She sighed in annoyance as she had to jump it again, hoping it wouldn't break this time.
Eventually...
Six pulled herself up into the next room where Mono was. He heard her coming in and turned in her direction, noticing her hat.
Mono: You found a hat?
Six: Yeah! I got it from the other vent I went through. How do I look?
Mono: Pretty good. Anyway, we gotta find a way across this gap.
A while later...
They traveled through a garbage chute and landed in a pile of garbage. Kinda expected. Mono continued to find a way to continue forward, but Six was checking the luggage that was piled with the trash.
Six found an undelivered package about her size and noticed it had an address that is right down the hall.
Still wearing the hat, she found this to be her mission. Flicking her hat to gain a better view, standing straight with a hand behind her back.
Six: Post woman Six to delivery!
She announced to herself. Mono heard and took the time to see her walking around with a small packet. He just watched as it all happened.
Six reached the door and knocked on it a couple of times. The small entry of the door opened slightly as whoever was on the other side was wondering who was there.
Six: Your package has arrived sir... or ma'am... or... forget it.
The hand reached out and gently picked up the packet from her hands, then went back inside.
Six did the same pose she did earlier in a job well done. Mono began clapping in the background out of how cute that looked.
Mono: Job well done... Post woman Six. heh heh.
