Six's life wasn't much of a... good one, you could say. It was complicated and misunderstanding, that most who saw or knew her wouldn't want her around, nothing to do with her, or just walk away.

Six did try to at least make a friend from time to time. Although, those attempts turned out to be useless mostly.

During her time in the Maw she came across a group of children that almost seemed like her, being around a fire. When she approached they would decline her from getting any closer.

Six held her arms out in a way to try and resemble a friendship. Sadly the main leader of the group, worn in a large piece of cloth that covers most of their body, refused and said...

Three: I know what you are. Don't trust her "Friendship". She'll only drag you down with her.

All looked at him as they were confused as to how a little girl in a yellow raincoat could be so dangerous.

Two: She doesn't seem entirely dangerous. She could just... rest with us for-

Three: -NO! You, know nothing! Have I ever been wrong? Have I not told you what lays beyond this refuge we call home?

Five: B-But-

Three: Enough! You all know nothing of what I've seen, what I know, but you will...

In a quick but sloth acting motion he lumps clothes towards the fires warmth, bringing others close and only stops to turn around with an expression of anger.

Three: You!

He points to Six.

Three: Leave us be. You are not welcome here.

All of them gathered around the fire in the room as they turned away from looking at her, leaving Six to leave without having said a word.

She traveled the Maw for quite some time, being about a day. She only wanted to try and make a friend, even though she doesn't know much of how it works, she felt lonely.

She had never had a real friend in life besides the Raincoat girl. She remembers she tried to help her but their fate still lead to her death. She never had a friend since then.

She walked the endless halls of machinery as she continued seeing Nomes running away when they caught sight of anyone.

Tried and fail was all she ever got. The Nomes don't try to trust anyone. No matter if you're child, teenager, adult, or even... a monster.

Six began to feel the belief that she truly is a monster. Why else would nobody trust her. She just knows her hunger will be the reason a friendship would be broken. "Without a doubt" she said in her head, filled with depression in the thought.

So in time, she secluded herself from anyone and anything. Only one way in and out, living and sleeping every night in a small suitcase. She thought she would stay there forever until she'd grow out of it. That was the idea until she had a dark dream of a lady with a mask, humming a tune louder and the area shaking, waking her up, causing her to leave.
